I think we need to leave the Book of Life in God's hands rather than deciding for ourselves who is heaven-bound and who is not. I do not judge Roman Catholics or Baptists or Presbyterians or any other denomination that has their own "truth" of their interpretation of the Bible. That said, I believe there is a "saving faith" that describes Christianity as a whole, even though there are two main branches, one of them being fractured into several hundred denominations.

If the Christian God is real then Satan is also real. And if God represents truth then Satan will always be present with deception and falsehood. Think back to the story of Cain and Able. Able claimed to worship God. So did Cain. But while Able did what God asked, Cain did not. This has been the case for all of Earths history to deceive souls. God has a true church but you can count on Satan to spawn 100 false ones. Those who let the bible be their guide will be led into all truth.
So the fact that there are many versions of Christianity does not prove that there is no God but reaffirms it.

And these can be broken down into sub-sects.
Also, consider that Muslims and Jews can also be broken into various sects, and there are many other religions besides them.
Too bad there aren't any real gods out there to set everybody straight.
