Maybe Moses and Jesus and Mohammad got it all wrong. What if we were a mistake and god hates the fact that we are even alive. Maybe we were an accident and we ruined his whole plan. Ever think about that?

I mean, when you call a company, Verizon, for instance, you have the option to pick English, push 1, Spanish, push 2. I mean it isn't a big deal to push the 1, but why have it in the first place?

Who was the one that decided we should use Spanish as the second choice?

We need to confess our sins to God so that fellowship (shared relationship) might be restored with Him. It is sin, the violation of God's Law, that breaks this fellowship with Him. When we turn back to Him and away from sin, this relationship is restored again thanks to His mercy.

This was my previous question.
I understand from a lot of the religious questions and answers from Christians here that if you do not repent your sins before you die then you will go to hell. God has not forgiven you as you have not repented therefore you will be punished - ie hell.
I understand this to be correct as it came from a vicar at my father in law's church. If you committed a sin such as wrath (sure that it is possible for Christians as much as anyone to get very angry about something) and then you drive off in your car and in your angered state crash and you die instantly, do you go to hell?

Is it similar to Christmas, is it a big deal, is it good?

I've just looked it up on wikipedia, apparently it is a holiday in America, on the 4th thursday in november, where everybody gets the day off and eats turkey.

The UK equivalant is harvest Festival, which nobody cares about and takes place on a Sunday so we don't get a day off.

Do you think we should get a day off in the UK and feast on turkey?

Don't quote the Bible, the Qu'Ran, or any other scripture, I want to know why you, personally, hate atheists, what is so horribly wrong about us that makes us unworthy of anything except your hatred?

Today, Thanksgiving, a few of my non-Catholic friends and I were discussing Purgatory. They do not belive in it. I do, but I felt awful because I could not show where the word Purgatory came from. When I first started looking around I was one of the few open bisexuals, now there's more and more. Basically what I want to know is why are so many bisexuals who are using their sexuality as an excuse to cheat. I understand and can even accept polygamy, even though I could never do it myself, but I get tired of people saying that because they are bi they need to be with both a man and a woman at the same time and then still try to pass it off as love. Whatever happened to love being devoting yourself to your significant other? Where's the loyalty anymore? I don't mind open relationships but how can you still pass it off as love?

So what I want to know is am I really the only bisexual monogamist left out there?

I'm a native born and raised Northern California gal. Have lived in several places in Northern California and happy where I've always lived. Enjoy traveling and if I met 'him' one day and it was called for that I move I would, yet I have always enjoyed Northern California.
