I'm a swimwear designer and retailer and we do photoshoots several times a year. I can tell you that those girls are real and very beautiful, (not to mention very nice people.) However, that being said, the models do go through exhausting hair and make up sessions, the lights and camera angles are set just so, the models know just how to pose to get the right reaction from the viewer, and finally, every single photo has had some sort of touch up done, ranging from covering blemishes to taking in a waistline and puffing up a bossom. It's an art form...the art of selling the product.

Some idiot girls do that like to expose their bodies to anyone who will look. But normal girls don't go around like that. It's just unnatural. Peoples expectations shouldn't be of some super skinny bulimic or anorexic chick that turns down every dude but rather a girl that is understandable beautiful inside and out (maybe not hot super model in bikini gorgeous but lovely) I don't know what dudes see in those ditsy blonds and brunettes but they are all naive.

I think it's fair to say that they do exist...but it's not for eternity. I was an absolute stunner when I was in my teens and early twenties, but then I had children....and I turned into a mum, an attractive mum yes, but not a bikini clad stunner anymore!
I think your expectations should be realistic, ie, not based on girls in mag's, which in fairness are airbrushed into 100% perfection. My personal expectation of my own body, isn't to compare it with someone unrealistic who's ten years younger and without children...but to find out what is acceptable for me...ie, what makes me comfortable and what makes me disappointed with myself for eating too many cakes!

it's not just motorcycle magazines, a lot of car magazines in general have women like that. take a look at Lowrider magazine sometime, they're the best at this sort of thing. it's mainly for entertainment, but it can also make a nice car/bike look better(as long as the girl isn't ugly). it's the best of both worlds. a lot of car/bike junkies are hardcore enthusiasts, we tend to think about only two things on a given basis. it's nice to see material where those two things are combined for our viewing pleasure.

They do exist, but are not worth the effort to seek out. A normal girl can be found anywhere. Look in Woolworths, or Asda and you will see them working there.
We should expect nothing, that way if we get anything we will be happy with it.

Ask yourself this. Do you really want a woman like that? They do exist, but they have little to no brain cells most of the time, in addition to being stick insects. A lot of them are prima donas and divas who think the world belongs to them and that we all exist to serve them. They'd think the same of crushing your dreams as you would about opening a bottle of milk- IE, very easily, very casually.

real girls come in all shapes and sizes along with all sorts of personalities.. so don't go and set your sights for the magazine stunners :) Although you might find some of those, but their attitudes might stink.. not ALL but some.. :) *cheers*
Have an open-mind and i'm sure you'll find whatever it is that makes you happy :)

they get so many free treatments (ie. gym, fake tanning, hairdressing, make up,) for free- by the best and most expensive people- that they dont have to look after themselves.
then, i feel abnormal for even trying to make some sort of an effort by myself.
mind you the camera supposedly adds ten pounds so they must be freakishly thin.
