How could I use my time machine to rescue a fictional charachter?

Jesus was never crucified, Jesus never existed, Christianity is completely made up, as is every other religion, soley to divide and control humanity.

I'd go back to the time of the dinosaurs and laugh at them, the big idiots.

He wanted to die. That's why it's considered suicide.

Plus, they say that changing something that impacts our world on that level would ultimately change everything. We could probably still be living in the ancient world. Christianity helped people develop science and many other things. Think about it!

By the way, you kinda look like Quentin Tarantino taking a dump!

How do you know that someone didn't go back and make sure he was crucified?

A better use of the time machine would be to show the world that xtianity (as well as all other religions) is completely made up bunk.

As much as I would like to, I would not because that would invalidate everything in the Bible. Jesus(capital J) was conceived in order to fulfill a prophecy. In other words, that was His destiny.

Jesus said that He had the power to lay down His life and to take it again.

He said He could have summoned 72,000 Angels to set Him free ... but then there would have been no atonement.

That would really piss Jesus off wouldn't it, do you think he might then get desperate and take an overdose or cut his wrists...it just doesn't have the same impact somehow does it. Anyway just as well Jesus was a fictional character after all.

I would love to travel back in time. Several periods, for various reasons. But not for the one you mentioned. Interesting concept.......

time travel is impossible. the reprecussions from building the time macine itself would be enought to destroy or at least radically change everything we know to be reality.

even if you could travel through time you cant thwart the will of an infinite God.

but assuming that was possible christs crusifiction was his choice he could have stoped it or prevented but he didnt. he stayed there because he loves us and wants to have a relationship with us. if we believe him to be the payment for our sin that we might die to sin as he died on the cross and resurect into rightiousness as he resurected three days later.
