Ok, someone goes to the bathroom, it's rather smelly afterwards..., then they ask "Does anyone have a match?". I don't know if there is something obvious I'm not getting about this but what is the point of lighting a match in this scenario? Is the sulfer smell supposed to kill off the other foul oder? Does it relate to the starting your farts on fire joke? Could someone please explain this?

I hope this doesn't offend anyone lol, but this is a serious question.

and victorian sentimentality anyway. Make it a real holy day. Dec 25 is probably not the birthday of the historical Jesus if he ever existed, but I don’t wanna start a fight about that one. It's the commercialization of Christmas that bothers me. How can you celebrate the birth of the man who was always saying stuff like “blessed are the poor in spirit” and “if you want to follow me give your possessions to the poor” with the spectacle of greed and glitter and covetousness and avarice that .the modern Christmas has become? Do this. Have a nice simple dinner with family and friends and exchange simple handmade gifts after attending services at church. Take back your Holy Day from the American Greed Machine.

Do we even have the right to place value on another human being? Isn't one life just as valuable, just as precious, as another?

Your thoughts, elaborating if you will.

It really bothers me when other people talk about how bad someone is and they need to look at themselves most of the time. Other people blame christians for not being as "good" as they are supposed to be but no one's perfect, especially christian, we all have our differences and ideas that can get us in trouble...but why do people have to dwell on it so long??? What do you think?

Here is part of an article that appeared earlier this week in Earthtimes.org, How do you feel about it? I personally feel like the North Carolina Baptist Convention is made up of a bunch of bigoted, racist, elitist, hypocrites.

"North Carolina Baptists approve anti-gay policy
Author : Pat Fryer

GREENSBORO, North Carolina: The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina decided by a vote Tuesday to expel Baptist churches offering membership to gays and end its relations with congregations that support or approve of homosexuality. The vote amounts to adoption of a major policy that will allow the group to probe members for their orientation.

The North Carolina convention includes more than 4,000 member churches and nearly 1.2 million members. It is the second largest state body that is affiliated to the national Southern Baptist Convention. The latter has already approved a similar policy a decade ago. "

I heard that Americans are having a huge problem being overweight, and I wanted to help. You see, I am a bit of a hero, I like to help people, all while I wear a Jar Jar Binks costume. As you can imagine, it is the most inspirational thing ever. I put on my Jar Jar costume and went to my local gym to help people. I ran up to some guy who was lifting weights and yelled in his face, then I started pulling the weights out of his hand. I stood behind three fat women who were on treadmills and called them names and told them they would never be attractive, so I can inspire them to work harder. Then I did a dance and started screaming Jar Jar quotes at the top of my lungs. Everyone was staring. It looked like people has dry skin so I started squirting hand lotion on people. Everyone was yelling at me, and the man who worked at the gym tried to throw me out, but I broke loose and ran all around the gym screaming and pushing people. They canceled my gym membership, can I sue?

OK. I'm a straight girl. But last year at school, there was this girl in my class, and she'd always be staring at me like from her seat or when she walked by or something, and one day when I got up, she was in "the way" so she told me to go ahead but I let her go first. I never got the chance to talk to her and I missed out to see if we coulda been friends. Then yesterday I went out to eat, and she was working at that restaurant, and she waved at me when I came in. I was surprised, since we never talked or anything. So does that mean anything? Plus, I say Im a straight girl but I find her very pretty and everytime she walks by and even in school last year, I kept looking at her. 911!

I'm trying to find information about what steps did Saint Patrick take to prepare himself to Christianize Ireland. My book has only a short paragraph of him and only one sentence within that paragraph tells me that he studied in Gual and in 432 was Ordained bishop. HOWEVER, on the internet i found a little more. It says he studied under St. Germanus and was ordained by him also, I also found he was ordained by Pope Celestine and was sent back to Ireland to take the place of Pallidus by Pope Celestine. WHO IN THE WORLD ORDAINED HIM BISHOP???? LOL ? Also, where did he study or for how long...who taught him, etc.

I dress goth, i'll admit it. But people think i am a bad person because of it. The only other styles there are just don't fit me though, i hate preps, not a nerd, and lets face it i am not black ;). It just makes me sad when people pull their kids away form me in walmart. And this boy asked me if i hate my life. Don't you wish this world was less stereotypical? That way i can dress preppy and not be called a prep and dress black and not be called a poser, don't you jsut wish you could do that?
