Jesus taught the same doctrines that the Scriptures had always taught. He told us though to do more than give the laws lip service. He wanted us to Love. The High Priests at the time distorted the law.

Jesus did challenge the religious people in his days, Mainly Scribes & Pharrisee & the Priest because they try to condeme Jesus for healing on the sabbath day & picking corn on the sabbath, Jesus Is our Sabbath, When he hung there on the cross, there also hung The law & our salvation.

I think he was more challenging the religious leaders of his day, rather than the religious teachings themselves. He actually quoted a surprising amount of Old Testament texts. But he was really against people who would preach one thing and do another.

Your question is a little misleading and your quote is a misquote.
Your quote is a quote of Jesus quoting the prophet Isaiah, and you have insered the words "all that men teach" into your quote. Jesus used the quote of Isaiah to refute the Scribes and the Pharisees of that day saying that "THEY" were teaching as doctrine the precepts of men. He was not challanging all the religious teaching of His day. Please don't misquote scripture and then use your misquote to prove your point.

He preached against the hypocrisy of the ACTIONS of the teachers of the law. It is true they had a separate set of traditions that they expected people to follow that was unfair, most of which were regulations built upon tradition and not found in Scripture.

you are correct in this and it was because the temple authorities,(the Pharisees and Scribes) did not teach the true word of God revealed to Moses and the Prophets(the TORAH) but instead had corrupted it and taught what was in fact the Babylonian Talmud, and as far from the law of Moses as can be.

The True Founder of Christianity
The teachings of Paul, the true founder of Christianity, cannot be found anywhere in the teachings of Jesus or in those of prophets before him.
