Find out with this little test:

"If a man also writes with his left hand, as he writes with his right hand, he has committed abomination."

Is this sentence saying..
A) It is abomination for a right-handed man to also write with his left hand
OR
B) It is abomination to be left handed

Since it is obvious that the person is righthanded and says nothing of left handed people, the answer is A. So now look at this sentence and give your answer:

"If a man also lies with mankind, as he lies with a woman, he has committed abomination."

Is this Bible verse saying...
A) It is abomination for a man that lies with a woman (a heterosexual) to also lie with a man
OR
B) It is abomination to be homosexual

(HINT: This second question is identical to the first one, with only the subject changed)

We have telepathic ability, and can contact various forms of life out there.
And some are not suitable for humans. Lost souls, who are angry, and
elementals, that only want to bond with us, and get a thrill from the power.
But can make our spirit sick, as we are made of all four elements on Earth,
and they are only made of one element!

If you have faith you don't require evidence or proof, so if we are talking about God, the Celestial Teapot or the Invisible Pink Unicorn or indeed anything else you might like to mention that we have no proof or evidence for - we can believe in them all through faith alone as there is no evidence for or against them.

Men: Why do you think that it is hard for you ( or other men (in general) ) to say I love you to your wife / gf? Did you know that sometimes when a man says " I love you " it is just as effective as the man SHOWING his love for his lady? :P
WAS this a problem for you at one time or another? What helped you get over it?

That God created the universe VIA the big bang, and set in motion the whole thing? Why do some Christians have to believe that he had to do everything literally as in Genesis? The Bible was, after all, written by humans, who could not necessarily contemplate God (at first anyway.)

Natural Selection can surely be attributed to God - he could have made beneficial changes (mutations) to organisms that allowed them to evolve and become better at survival. Why does he only have to have taken 6 earth days? God's days are not our days after all, he's timeless.

The only thing that does not fit is the cruelness of nature (sometimes.) A Christian God implies goodness is everything, rather than a balance (which I am personally happier with anyway.) But even then - how can you have good without bad? Everything would just be the same, and neutral. If you do believe all God created must be good, then could Satan not have given organisms their 'selfishness' and will to survive?

Hey! i was just wondering if any one else had done the "blood sister/brother" ritual? I know i did, but i was 10 and we were afraid to cut too deep and hard so i think we just pricked our fingers. But it was a cute childhood memory! I'm in my 20's now but i'm going to do it again with one of my best friends (no worry of AIDS..lol.) is anyne else going to, or done this? It's quite sweet, i think!

If you're going to give silly answers like "because the Bible is fake", "because i dont read it", then dont bother to answer.

If you've read the Bible on it and think u know why do let me know! christians or not, its ok.

From an anti-theist point of view: why would you think Judas went anywhere besides heaven? If it wasn't for Judas, your Jesus could not have died for you. He loved Jesus and was so ridden with guilt that his only escape was to take his own life! Jesus foretold that one of his disciples would betray him. Judas had to do this in order for Jesus's prophecy and god's divine plan to come together. Therefore, Judas was created to do evil which opens up a whole 'nother can of worms. He was created for the express purpose of betraying Jesus. Shouldn't Judas be praised for bringing about your salvation? He was a key player in god's plan, did his part, and now he's condemned to hell!?

The Koran cites some 22 types of sinners that Allah does not love. "Allah loves not the unjust." "Allah loves not the glutton." Yet, most of us are unjust sometimes, and just other times; gluttons sometimes, and not other times. So do these verses mean God's love for us flips on and off like a light switch, depending on our behavior at the moment? Please, I mean no offense -- I am just trying to understand.

Christians believe that, although God holds us accountable for our actions, God's love for us is unconditional, infinite, and eternal. Conditional love is not love at all. If God doesn't love sinners, then the ones he does love make an awfully short list! Muslims, please explain your understanding of this.

Christians are scolded for being bigoted, racist, elitist, etc, for such things as not allowing practicing gays to be members of a church. I think this is a perfect example of hypocrisy Here's why. Would an atheist be ok with a fundamental Christian teaching their children's science class in a state that permited the discussion of intelligent design? No. According to the atheist, that teacher is filling your childs head with thing that are incorrect and harmful. They only want their kids to associate with people who believe what they believe. If we are elitist, the liberals are far more because their exclusivity occurs not just in a few churches but in every single educational institution in the country. Educators with different views are not currently allowed into the "fellowship" of teachers. Even if they are, they are not permitted to speak of their views. My point is simply that not even liberals can really be tolerant. Tolerance is an unworkable ideal. What do you think?
