Hey! i was just wondering if any one else had done the "blood sister/brother" ritual? I know i did, but i was 10 and we were afraid to cut too deep and hard so i think we just pricked our fingers. But it was a cute childhood memory! I'm in my 20's now but i'm going to do it again with one of my best friends (no worry of AIDS..lol.) is anyne else going to, or done this? It's quite sweet, i think!

Yeah, thats pretty gross, but yeah, I have done it,(when I was 8!) but to be in your twenties and doing it?? That is a tad bit immature!

yes there were some fond memories of the childhood days after we heard an episode of Straight Arrow there were three of us who did this and at school later there were more. later in life we actually did become " brothers " but in a different ritual than the one based on THE PEOPLE Spirituality.

first of all, only warriors are allowed to do that. it symbolizes brotherhood and eternal loyalty and can only be done ONCE! if you did this already, it`s over. if you do it again, you`re previous engagement will be forfeited and the same goes to all of you`re promises. in other words, if you do this promis more than once, that means that you`re word doesn`t mean anything anymore, making you a disloyal person that can not be trusted with the life of you`re brethren, because ultimately, that`s why you make this pact, to protect each other to the end of time. personaly, I never done that and probably never will.

I had a friend ask me to do that when we were kids. I refused. It sounded disgusting, and I was afraid of catching a disease or something from it. Of course, I lost her friendship when I refused. I still wouldn't do it with anyone.

I did it at girl scout camp when I was ten or eleven. I was also too chicken so I picked a scab! Several of us did it, our entire little "unit".
