Do we even have the right to place value on another human being? Isn't one life just as valuable, just as precious, as another?

Your thoughts, elaborating if you will.

I measure a persons "worth" by some very basic standards; are they a man or woman of their word, do they take full responsibility for their own actions both good and bad, do they maintain their integrity in all situations or practice "situational ethics" and believe that the end justifies the means? It boils down to people that I trust vs. people that I would never turn my back on. And yes, on a practical everyday basis we have every right to place value on another human being. They all have every right to exist, but they're not entitled to be "valued" by anybody, thats an earned right.

I'm just a sinner...how could I say that this one is...and this one is...May God help us love each other and take good care of each other!
We all are precious for our Father in heaven, He loves a king and a beggar the same way; our world ruled by evil changed our minds, our thinking way. If we are weak the bad one uses us to hurt those around and if they aren't with God they'll hurt back and the things will go on like that (that was the life on the planet Earth from centuries!) Our Salvation came through Jesus Christ and we must do something to understand tha LOVE IS EVERYTHING, (pure, saint LOVE); let's pray for those in need, for those addicted and for those that cannot believe in our Lord Jesus Christ! Please!

I'm not proud of this in fact I am trying to change it but seems since I moved back to the south I judge people on their lack of intelligence. I have tried to get info from previously confederate states that continue commiting mindless acts of vandalism upon Yanks or cars with Yank plates or pets of Yanks who moved in. I tohught hey if the Yanks knew why you were haters maybe they could do something different, and even asked it of Christians there or shall we say here and the questions get violated everytime. To my way of thinking it takes a pretty crude brand of stupid to continue the hate of reconstruction this long and let political parties use this hate to separate the people and thus conquer with very little accountability, but these folks just want to hide it and northerners think it is so preposterous they do not even believe it. Just so dumb that something like this can be hidden and have such a big affect.

So what I think is there are lotsa really stupid people and I should just see people who are deluded but I see it as hate born of stupidity. Its like lets get together and be all right or left. Anywasy people who are intelligent and insightful and tender, thats what I like this r neck mentality gives me the creeps.

Money or lack of money doesn't make anyone better or worse than anyone else. The actions they take or do not take is what makes them good people or not.

And no, not ALL life is as precious as others. Sorry, but that SOB who molests an 8 year old doesn't deserve to breath the same air as I do, and I'd gladly put a .50 calibur slug through their worthless heads.

And I don't care what kind of dough they have.

My beliefs make it very foolish to try to determine someones worth.

In my thought system a persons worth was determined by God.

If God thought they were OK, who am I to disagree.

Judgment is foolish. Everyone is an important and valuable part of the collective whole.

We are one.

Hi Spook How ya been.

Love and blessings Don

I measure a person not by words but by deeds. Not by the size of their fortune, but by the size of their heart.

As the Lord told us in these modern times. Doctrine and Covenents 18:10, "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God."

If God places so much in the human soul, shouldn't that tell us how we should treasure each other?

Society values us by our bank balance and what we own.

Each human being is as Unique, Valuable and Precious as the other. No matter their religion and colour. We are all children of Adam.

Who is this? You ask too many questions. I place value on other people all the time. Are you saying that I'm arrogant for doing so? There ain't a human alive that doesn't place judgements on other people. You need to wake up and face reality, honey. You're living in a fantsay world. Does what I've just said bother you? Do you now think I'm a real jerk? Well, if so - good. I just proved my point. You're as guilty as the rest of us. Peace

you actually kind of answered this yourself ,,,,,,,,,,,we do not or should not go around judging others for what they have ,how much they are worth in monetary amounts,or even what they believe in or how they choose to live .
we only get to make ourselves worthy humans and this takes a lot of work as for the measure of what someone is worth ,,,i do think it is in there everyday deeds and thoughts ,how they treat others ,,,,but not up to anyone to decide that someone is better then another person ,,,,,,,,,,because it simply is not the truth ..........

That would depend on the person doing the measuring. Personally, integrity is worth more than money. Money can be lost and recovered. Once integrity is lost, one never really gets it back.
