Speak to Yoda. Then again, I wouldn't trust him, too short, his head is too close to his @rse. MTFBWY.

You find this out just like you find anything else on the Internet. With a search engine. Searching Jedi Religion came up with a large handful of hits, the most interesting of which to me was the link below. But there are many others, and some may be better than others. Happy hunting, and may the Force be with you!

The Force is a fictional incorporeal energy field that is generated by all living organisms and permeates the universe and all things within. It is clearly indebted to the concept of chi and the Od of Baron Carl Reichenbach. Its principles resemble some real-world religions like Hinduism, the Shinto religion of Japan, certain Celtic druidic concepts, and probably resembles Buddhism and Taoism the most. Dick Staub, author of Christian Wisdom of the Jedi Masters, in an interview with Christianity Today, said he feels "the Lucas story is more theologically attuned with Hinduism". On his own admission, George Lucas has clearly been influenced by Christianity, Buddhism and Indian religions in writing the Star Wars saga. And as such many Christians connect the Force with the concept of the Holy Spirit, the energy force of a Higher Being that connects believers and when coming into contact with a human spirit creates something new. It also bears a close similarity to the Chinese notion of qigong, the Hindu notion of Brahman, and many others. The earliest description of this "energy field" would be akin to that of pran, of which pranayama is a systematic practice originating in India and a part of yoga. The Force is subject to control by anyone who is "Force sensitive." An individual who can control the Force can perform incredible feats such as telekinesis and telepathy. Midi-chlorians are tiny microscopic bacteria inside your body which allow you to use the force.

First there is NO Jedi religion. The claim is based on the fact that many people used the Jedi "religion" on British census papers as it is mandatory to answer all the questions and a large number of people (myself included) object to giving the Government such personal information - which is, to put it bluntly, none of their business. BtW, I gave them "Spanish Congregationalist" - a religion invented by my father and a friend of his while they were in the army. The army rule during WWII was that if you were religious, you didn't have to parade on Sunday. If you weren't, then duties as usual - so, invent a religion and get Sundays off. It lasted them for 5 years and nobody noticed that there were no other followers of this particular sect.

Only a true jedi made his mark back in 2000 in the census.....you will just have to wait until 2010 when the next one is out.

It replaced into the 2001 census. absolutely everyone suggested that if adequate human beings suggested they were Jedi, then it will be referred to as a faith. except that when this replaced into going round, for sure, the authorities heard about it. After the outcomes got here in and they observed multiple "Jedis" they suggested they might discover absolutely everyone that claimed they were one, and tremendous them for filling out the census wrongly. remember that that's a criminal offense to not complete the census honestly. i understand someone that suggested he replaced right into a Jedi, and he not in any respect were given fined, so i don't think of they persued it. it is not a faith in spite of the actuality that, as they understand it replaced into crap.

Probably casting auditions for the next Star Wars movie. See George Lucas.
Man that would be great if they made a new set of them! Went back further into the old republic or after return of the jedi.
Btw, if you want religion (to believe in God) then believe in him. Read the Bible and learn about Jesus!

Check on beliefnet.com. If there are any Jedi on there (I'm pretty sure there are), they can tell you what you need to do.
