I just saw it last night and I thought Mandy Moore should have won an Oscar for her role; she was great! And her hair was divine---it was like a mix of midwestern chic and self-righteous glamour...

If there anyway to get data back from a CD after it's been rewritten. I rewrote the DVD I made of my son's birth with a bunch of clips of Jar Jar Binks that I collected from the internet. My wife is so angry. To be honest, I knew it was that birth DVD, but I didn't care, I wanted the Jar Jar clips more. I love Jar Jar more then my wife, and son. But just to calm my wife down, is their any way to retrieve the older video?

This question is for those who answered yes to the question "are you a 100% sure God exists?"

I decided to put the real question first, just to make it harder for religious people to duck it again, as they often do.

My point is: only absolute Beings can know absolutes. And in case you think God can do it for you, make you know absolutes, remember that he would have to make you a God yourself.

People who say they are absolute sure of anything are putting themselves in God's place for in order present yourself as humam, you have to acknowledge limitations.

I have made several prayer requests (check my profile) for my close friend April, who has been in the hospital for more than 4 months. She was in a coma for over a month, after her cowardly ex b/f gave her a severe concussion.

Doctors weren't sure she would ever come out of coma and they claimed she had 65% permanent brain damage, with very little chance of any significant recovery.

I found this very difficult to accept, as April certainly didn't deserve to suffer so much at such a young age (23). I prayed that God would help April fully regain her health, and I had faith that she would be healed.

For those who have offered their prayers & kind words to my previous requests, you have my sincere thanks ...... April came out of her coma about a month ago, and she is showing steady improvement as time passes. She is now able to recognize close friends & communicate with them : )

I am making a gift for my boyfriend, i am taking a quote that he enjoys from the bible and putting it on paper and decorating and framing it.. the quote is Matthew 4:4. the entire line reads,
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God'"
now if i wanted to use this for the purpose that i am, would you suggest writing the entire line, or where would you have it start? i just want it to sound and be right.

when i read it, it sounds to me like it is a prayer.
i've heard tho it's more of asking mary to talk to God. i've always believed that even after we go to heaven we will still be worshiping in heaven. and a part of worshiping God is prayer. am i right, if i'm half-right or wrong can you bring me up to speed?

I've been into this fetish since I was about 10, it spread to trucks, 4x4's, yachts etc. However because I refuse the keep it quiet nonsense, I get interesting reactions. Some people sincerely believe I'm either wrong or screwed in the head. So I'm curious to find out the real problem the objectors have. Is it they don't like to imagine it? They have a problem with the diversity of it? Or would those folks prefer everyone to simply be the same way as themselves? Or is there some religious issues (irrelevencies).
This is my blog, non x rated really. So if you find it objectionable-whats the real reason? Not limited to my own fetish either-any other harmless fetishes attract similar disgust.

Passover is the holiday where thanks is given to God for passing over our decendants house that night. thanks is given becuz if God hadn't passed over our house we wouldn't be here now.

Yom Kipper is the holiday where you fast and ask repentence for your sins for the current year. it doesn't mean that you only ask for forgiveness once a year, it's a holiday to remind us to ask for forgiveness all the days of the year.
as a Catholic, would i still be able to celebrate these holidays.

From the prophet Ezekiel. God said to Ezekiel this concerning Isreal and it's sin against God.

God has always loved Isreal and still does. Isreals existence is a testimony that God himself is real. But If God punished Isreal his own chosen people what makes you think that America with its great sins will still receive blessings?

I'm neither Republican or Democrate but when you have politics voting to remove the Bible out of schools, To remove the ten commands from goverment property, Support porn and sexual content, Slander each other, Take bribes, and Help the wicked prosper over the righteous. Then what is one to think?

For Christians only what do you think about America? I think there is a possiblity that America will lose it's power. It will only have its self to blaim. If America does stand then I think it is only because God still has a use for it(Perhaps to help Isreal in the battle of Armaggedon?) What are your views?
