Why do women always seem to carry two bags?

Why do you always see ladies with a handbag and a plastic bag? Why not just carry one larger bag?

Because your handbag is not large enough to fit all your groceries in. You only go to the shop for one thing so you don't know you need a big bag. Once in the shop you end up buying loads of stuff so need a bag. I do carry a large bag on fruit market day but usually just a small bag.

I've never seen ladies with a handbag and a plastic bag unless it was a purchase that they have just made. You don't want to put things from stores in your purse, it might be considered shoplifting.

When you set off for wherever you're going, you obviously need to put your purse, lipgloss, phone etc somewhere, you can't just carry it in your hands until you've bought something and got a bag! Also, I think women's purses tend to be chunkier than a man's wallet, so they don't really fit nicely in your pocket xxx

at first glance, i thought your question was referring to their jugs. then i would reply, "same reason why us men carry two small sacks"

i rarely see women with two bags... i usually see them only carry a shoulder bag, and inside that shoulder bag is a mini bag where all their make up is (sometimes no mini bag at all).

coz if you have one large bag with everything in, you can't ever find anything when you need it!

Hmmm...I haven't seen that lately, but it would balance the weight on both sides, so their spine doesn't get (as) messed up....?
