Do you know what it means? Try to not to be such a smartass and appreciate the things you have around you before they are gone.

You forgot to mention if you ARE cocky and vain! You should be asking other people that you know, and you care about you if they think so to. If the consensus is that you are, then either stay that way, or change it. Gotta tell ya, NO one really likes to be around someone with those attributes.

it can be really hard to see yourself what other people see. maybe you are cocky and vain. but that doesnt make you a bad person....and unless your friend is really mean, i doubt she wanted it to hurt you. just take it on board and try to be more mature and less cocky. and cheer up! :)

Figure out is she's right. Then fix it, if so. If not, let her know you're hurt then move on as friends again. Friends can express themselves (nicely), esp if they're trying to help the other person. Consttuctive criticism should be just that - constructive.

don't be,you could have worse character defects and these could be turned into positive attributes.i would consider her possible motives for pointing this out before i 'd give it too much power.if her intention was to be hurtful then shes succeeding
