I'm talking about that one food item that HAS to be on the Thanksgiving table at your house or it's just not Thanksgiving.
Not the biggies like Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and pumpkin pie,
but something maybe unique to your family, and it doesn't have to be something you like either.
For example, my cousin always brings butternut squash casserole.
Now, I personally can't stand the stuff, but I would insist that someone whip some up if he failed to bring it, because, it simply
"would not be Thanksgiving" without butternut squash casserole on the table!!!

The thing I'm asking so passionate for, would it be ruined now after I have sinned and repented?
I know he is forgiving but would I have to pay for that sin by not getting an answer or a no to my prayers?

I'm sort of glad and yet sad. Because this year I'm dorming with 3 other guys. And my Roommate is gay. He's a really nice person. Now I know I'm gay, but I'm not out. I would love to just talk to him about it, because he is out and is comfortable with It, at least I think. Now the thing is I don't look like typical gay man, well at least in my eyes. I'm only aroung 5'4 and stocky build, while he's tall, toned and skinny. I keep having this fear that if I say something people will look at me funny and treat me different. I would like to tell him, so I could talk to him, bu I don't know if he would accept me.

So any advice on what to do?

My son was born on 9-24-06 and passed away 10 days later on 10-04-06. He was born with a rare heart condition... His big sister Skyla' misses him as his father and I do. It was those times when our country was polarized by political bickerings. The church can't resist taking side and it was them who made that quote. If there's any grain of truth to the quote does this mean that if popular voice happens to be leaning more towards evil that God Himself is evil? I think there's a flaw in that quote somewhere. What do you think?
