When the mother of Lady Mary was aware she was with child, she prayed that the Almighty GOD accept her child in His service:
"My Lord! surely I vow to You what is in my womb, to be devoted (to Your service)"
Even though the child turned out to be a girl (normally, it would be a son that is dedicated to religious study), the child was still accepted as being devoted to the service of GOD. She was the pure woman who, while a virgin, gave birth to a pure son.
Yes, humans are born without sin. A small number of humans have been chosen by the Almighty GOD to live their entire lives with no sin at all. Lady Mary and her son are examples.

Somehow I miss the line of your question. Both are true, all humans are born without sin and historically Mary is considered immaculate, what's wrong with that, and you don't have to be a Muslim to see that. Unless I'm mistaken.

The Quran says the creation of Isa is like that of Adam, Allah said "Be and it is", so from where do you get this immaculate conception crap and Mary?
The Quran names the virgin as Mariam. Mary is Biblical and outside of Islam.
The Bible calls Jesus (not Isa), the "only begotten son", which is a conception and which requires sexual contact with the father or the holy ghost who are both named as the father of the child in the sinful verses of the Bible.
The Old Testament makes no mention of a father of the child and this would be acceptable to the Muslims of the Children of Israel, but the Gospels pull Joseph out of a hat and then adds to the sinful confusion with the angel, Zeus, who names the child as his own, Je-Zeus.
Read the ninth chapter of John and see what the Christ answers to the question about the man born blind having sinned or his parents and you will see this to be a pagan belief that ties in with re-incarnation.
Thanks for your kind naivete.

Edit: I have misunderstood your question and am posting the following in link.
Islam does not teach the doctrine of Immaculate Conception of Mary. She had parents. Check link.
He had created Adam from no parents, Eve from one man, and Jesus from one woman, therefore, He is capable of all things. Big and small.
And no it doesnt make sense for people to be born with sin.
I dont pay for anyones sins (Adam)
And no one pays for mine (Jesus)
This is against the concept that God is fair.
Fairness is giving everyone what they deserve regardless of what anyone else does.
Peace

Nicholas,
Yes, we believe that everyone is born without sin. We believe that children are pure and are not capable of sin as they do not cognitively know the difference between right and wrong and cannot make informed decisions. However, we do believe that by puberty, if anyone does wrong, and knows that it is wrong, then that person is sinning. You are right in saying that we don't believe in inherited sin. You and I both know that God is The Most Just, and putting the sin of one person onto a person who has not commited that sin is not just by any means.
Also, you are correct that we do believe in the Immaculate Conception. However, I have to ask, how does the way a person is conceived make that person sinless? Adam was a sinner, and was "born" without a mother OR father. Eve was a sinner and was "born" from her husband's rib. Neither of them had a father or a mother, unless you consider God to be their father. Either way, if you use the way a person was conceived to judge how sinless that person is, that would either mean that Adam or Eve were more of a son and daughter to God, or that they are more sinless than Jesus, and obviously this is not the case.
Now, regarding your belief of Jesus as sinless, there is one more point I would like to bring up. We believe as Jesus as a prophet chosen by God, but not the son of God nor God Himself. As I said before, you and I both believe that God is The Most Just. Now, keeping that in mind, let's look at why God could not send an angel, a son, or Himself. Remembering that we are born with the choice to sin or not to sin, what kind of example would The Most Just send to us, to show us the Straight Path to Himself? Would He send one of His angels who do not no wrong? Would He send Himself as an example? No...since He is The Most Just, he sends HUMAN BEINGS that He has chosen to spread His Message so that he does not set us up for failure. He is our Creator. He knows that we are not perfect, so therefore knows that we will give up hope on improving ourselves if the examples set for us are perfect. We cannot be perfect. Even Jesus proves that he is not perfect in the Bible itself:
Matthew 19:16-17 "One came and said unto him,'Good master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?' And Jesus said unto him, 'Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, That is God.'" (ONLY God is Perfect)
Mark 1:3 "Where he (Jesus) stayed forty days, being tempted by Satan." (Satan tempts him because he has the capability of sin. Satan would have no power to tempt God.)
Mark 13:32 "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the son, but the Father." (He does not know when the Day of Judgement is)
Mark 11:13 "And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came if happily he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for the time of the figs was not yet."
(He does not know the attributes of God's creations)
To close, I would like to point out that we cannot be Muslims unless we believe in all of the prophets sent by God, and that according to Islam, Mary is the best woman from the beginning of time until the end of time. We believe that God only says "Be" and everyone and everything come into being as He wills them to be, and that was the case with Adam, Eve, Jesus, and Mary herself. The only difference between how her and her son were willed by God is that she was born miraculously by God's command from a mother and a father, and he was born miraculously by God's command without a father. Aren't all births a miracle from God? Didn't God will all of us to be who we are faults and all? Didn't He say "Be" and we were? That's the only reason that we are now human "Be"ings!

Ok first Muslims believe Adam(pbuh*) and Eve repented to ALLAH after they sinned. Then ALLAH made Adam(pbuh*) the first caliph(prophet). Second Muslims believe ALLAH made Maryam(Mary) pregnant with Esau(PBUH*) and made Esau(Pbuh*) a prophet. Esau is the prophet Christians call Jesus. Third Esau(pbuh*) is highly respected in Islam as well as his mother Maryam.
