Everywhere you go, there is a cup labeled "Tips". What's the tip for? For just turning around and saying "Next please" ?

I went for a drive today and I was noticing that almost all the barns in the country are red. I was wondering why? Especailly the older ones. You can tell that some of the ones that are old use to be red. So I was wondering dose anyone know the history behind this of why most barns are red?

Like Jews? or even anybody? Did they go to purgatory or (this seems very unlikely) hell? My Religion teacher told me that before Jesus came, no humans were permitted into heaven. Thus, this question came.

Ok, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that “god” created everything. I can still prove to you how science out weights religion.

Early man, lets start with Homo habilis was the first “man” to create stone tools to cut up meat and make spears to out match their predators insuring the their survival.

Next we have Homo erectus, who was the first “man” to harness fire and cooked meat (eating cook meat was easier to digest giving them more protein for the brain to develop)

Without those tools/inventions of science our earliest ancestors would never be able to compete with other predators.

Remember this was when religion didn’t exist so all of our poor ancestors will go to hell along with trillions of others, Ancient Greeks, Egyptians, Macedonians, Romans, Celts, Chinese, Yamato (Japanese), Aztecs, Incans, Mayans, and Thousands of other cultures who don’t believe in Christianity.

Seems to me science out weights religion and seems to me heaven is a very Christian place that only Christians can go to.

Hmm…Do Christians honestly believe they are so special compared to the thousands of other cultures and religions?

Eligibility - All souls must participate, there will be noexceptions to this rule. If you choose not to play, your soul will burn eternally.

Rules
-There will be no help given in judging which religion is the right choice, there will be no valuable historical evidence for any choice.
-Living a good life will not help you win The Eternal Soul Lottery, we do not care if you were a good person or not, clearly the best way to judge eternal souls is through ::The Eternal Soul Lottery::
-You are only allowed to choose one, NO CHEATING!!
-If you make the wrong choice your soul will be banished to hell for eternity!

Good Luck.

First off...I'm 16 years old, and have pretty much rejected Christianity throughout my life. When I was little, I hated going to church for all sorts of various reasons and sort of associated that with Christianity as a whole. I kept this mentality until I was a bit older...then I was sort of in that kinda do kinda don't...but not really stage. I kept it that way until I was fifteen and my Sophomore Science teacher and I started to have a bit of a more personal relationship than just student to teacher. I would stay afterschool for a couple of hours sometimes, and we would talk about things. He is a Christian, and said he saw something in me...and so started to teach me all about Christianity. (sorry this is so long...) Anyway, with all of our discussions that stretched into hours...I came to believe in Christianity. One of the reasons I had never before is because I was taught differently and the way I was taught seemed to make sense to my very logical side. What I'm wondering is...

I am a person of color and I feel that many waitstaff persons don't give minorities their best service cause they feel that may not get a good tip from us. I have often felt ignored or at best given the bare minimun of service in restaurants. Often we have to wait a long time for someone to take our order.Once at a Craker Barrell we could hear and see the waiters discussing who "had " to take our table. My mom and I are always well dressed and polite customers and I make a point of over tipping a little so hopefully they will change there view of black customers.
If your a waiter/waitress is my observation correct???
Other people of color please tell me do you experince the same treatment.

Can you explain to me (using credible references if you so wish) to the worldwide flood that occured when God smited the earth due to man-kinds wickedness? What depositional evidence is there that is common to the terrain of the earth regardless of country/continent?

18And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

19And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

20Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

21And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

22All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

When you suddenly realise that everything and everone is one and connected, all built from the same elements and energies, and that we only feel like one person/ourselves because we're situated in our own heads...? And you can't stop smiling/laughing.

If you believe the bible is literal, how do you explain some of the physical imposibilities in it? For example,Adam and Moses living for hundreds of years.
If you think the bible is metaphorical, then surely you are admitting that it is just a bunch of stories, yet you still believe it.Why?
