Or,

Hypothetical situation - a man, who in his life was a good bloke, i dunno, maybe like a hindu monk etc. Anyway might have committed a couple of sins or something. He dies, and guess what - wakes up in hell (didn't believe in jesus, sorry mate you're f cked).

Anyways, in hell he's under unimaginable torment, he burns alive every second, his flesh searing in the lake of fire etc. etc. etc. He has burnt to a crisp a billion trillion times for every sin he ever commited and this is only the beginning.

He's screaming out for jesus to forgive him and save him, but god ignores him, quoting scripture and saying - you had you're chance mate when I died for you, didn't take it, now you pay the price etc.

Right, story over. Now I'm a bit confused - I read in the bible that Jesus told a story about a man dying at the side of the road. Now in the situation above (which is supposedly happens to all non believers when they die), is god like the pharisee, the levi or the samaritan?

I know...they're ALL pretty absurd...but what is absolutely the most ludicrous, unreasonable, irrational, senseless, dim-witted argument that you've come across?

I think my favorite is: If EVERYBODY was gay, the human race would go extinct!

That's about as logical as saying that we shouldn't allow anybody to become...say, veterinarians, because if EVERYBODY wanted to be a veterinarian, there would be no farmers, and we'd all starve to death!

Don't forget to explain WHY, please!

How do you ask someone to pay you back if this person is trying to avoid contact with you and ignores your calls. I was thinking in showing on at his house and wait until he comes to ask for the money back...any ideas? What should I say?

I remember the words, but not who sang it.
"I cannot come to the wedding,
Don't trouble me now,
I have got me a wife,
I have bought me a cow,
I have fields and appointments which cost a pretty sum
Please hold me excused, I cannot come."

I accidentally cut my thumb with a butter knife when I was cutting a piece of butter yesterday evening, but I don't know if one should want to really admit it if anyone should ask. However, I do know that because of the rarity of drawing blood from a butter knife while cutting something such as butter may be nearly as impressive as getting in a brawl at the pub and getting a thumb cut on a broken beer bottle or such.

So, when someone asks how I got this huge cut on my thumb, which is it more impressive to mention: "butter knife while cutting butter" or "broken beer bottle from a wild pub brawl?"

Since having sex with bi or gay men puts you in a higher risk catagory according to all the medical insitutions worldwide,
why shouldn't they be untrusting of them?
