the pain itself isnt a virtue, but rather the manner in which they handle their suffering. i look back at my grandma -- her hip was completely degenerated but she never really complained. for 13 years she slepti in a chair. she fell often but would not give up her home so we were there often. once she fell and laid there for 4+ hours. once it was about 6am she finally pushed her "help i've fallen button" the firefighters had a key to her house -they knewher well. they chastized her for not calling sooner -she said she didn't want to wake them. after she died, i tried to sleep in her chair - it was horrible. she suffered all those long years with her health faining and would ask uss only to add pillows and restart the VCR with the sound of music.
with all the amazing pain she was in -she still prayed and never whined about her pain.
God gives us strength to overcome any situation - when asked.

A person becomes a "saint" or a holy one of God by putting their faith in Jesus so that they have his imputed righteousness credited to their account and at the same time God gives them new life through the indwelling presence of his Holy Spirit.
As to your question about pain, pain is a result of sin that entered the world. It isn't a virtue or a vice, it is how a person reacts to pain that shows how virtuous they may or may not be. I don't like pain and except for some people who have mental problems I don't know anyone else who does either. That's why I'm so glad that Jesus has promised us that all who trust in Him have a pain free eternity waiting for us on the other side of this life.
Revelation 21:1-7
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. "

No.
Pain is a sensation. Resistance to that sensation causes the suffering, not the sensation itself. That resistance is what makes people jerks - they hate the sensation & want it ended, but it is still there. The suffering is an emotional state.
People who understand that the pain is merely a sensation (maybe a very strong one) & that non-resistance to it, like a stream of water flowing around a rock, leads to lessening, and then to a lack of suffering, get called virtuous. I say they are just better educated about what the experience is and what can be done about it.

At first I idea of thrush however it is almost always no longer painful. Have you attempted any OTC cooling and numbing throat sprays or drops? Also, you might ask your healthcare professional approximately probably supplying you with a few liquid hydrocondone. That will support dramatically with the ache
