I don't quite understand the question. Why what? you mean why people get hurt and die and people live a hard life? I do ask why... sometimes I don't understand but I realize that I can't see the whole picture of what is going on and God can. Also I realize that the reason some things happen is because of choices we make not because of God. He gives us a choice and we have to suffer the consequenses if we do wrong.

So I do ask why, I dont always understand, and I am still a christian.

I don't know, I never asked why; it wasn't until I came across a certain book that I began to wonder; me asking why was just by chance and if it wasn't for the book being given to me by my cousin I would've began questioning things because of my history teacher, other than that I too would've never pondered

i do not consider myself as religious...
but i do believe that there is a God.

i can see that you are referring to the small "whys" that you are assuming "religious" people do not ask.

but (most) people who believe that there is a God, believed precisely because they did asked the "big whys"

such as:

why was i born?
why am i here?
why do i do things that i do not want to do &
why dont i do things that i ought to do?
why am i answering questions like this one?

I do not know the Religious People that you know, but I am always asking "Why?" I do not always get an answer, but sometimes I do. But, I am always satisfied that my LORD has everything under His control.

We do. At least the smart ones do. Often, the answer presents itself later.

Though I realize some things can't be answered right now. So I am accumulating a list of things to ask God when I see Him.

Who says we don't? It's just that we know there are some things that no one can EVER know or understand in this lifetime especially pertaining to God.....He let's us see what's MOST important, and that's how to be forgiven of your sins. I've learned to ask why a lot less since I've been saved...I trust God will take care of me.....

We ask all kinds of Q's including why.

How come people like you ask stupid Q's?

Because asking why would lead them down the path toward atheism as it did for me.

Ask why WHAT?

I have no need to ask why, I have read the Bible, I have prayed and talked to Jesus. I have no need to ask why.

I AM STRONG IN MY FAITH.
GOD BLESS, AMEN!
