Anyone can be a saint in any profession. It means putting God first. Turning aside for ever from fleshly and egotistic pursuits, concentrating his attention on the needs of others rather than on his own appetites, on love and his soul rather than on power and his will. The benefit is going to heaven right away rather than worrying about being separated from God if you aren't a caring person. Many people are humble saints and they don't even know it. The most saintliest may never rust, indeed there are stories of bodies not suffering corruption, something you don't find among adherents of other religions.

Well all the saints are dead. But, I am a Christian and I can have all the fun I want. Being a Christian doesn't mean being boring. We do lots of things every body else does. We just don't murder, rob, rape, or things that are illegal or immoral. Heck, I'm even a biker!

Well honey I got to tell you this is not quite true in fact it is just the opposite!!! I use to be the partying HARD type I did all the "fun stuff" things that looked fun..in fact that was like the first thing I thought when becoming a Christian..I thought I would never have fun again.. but in all reality I have NEVER had so much fun!!! I have a peace also that NOTHING I tried (drugs, alcohol) to make myself feel good. The reality is I WAS DEAD ONCE ( in my sins) but now I am ALIVE!!! Praise be to God Almighty.

Exactly, essentially, upon resurrection, they will be 'leaders' of the others. Some idiots think they have been resurrected already, although there's no biblical evidence of this. It's only because they listen to the AntiChrist, who lives in Rome- ex. the City on 7 Hills- as mentioned in Revelation 17- as I'm sure YOU already know. Given your obvious wealth of knowledge regarding religion. Yep, they are still very dead.
Of course, if you are a soulless heathen, as you appear to be, after looking at your other questions, you won't need to worry about it, since you will get burned up in the Lake of Fire.

I'll never know what it's like to be as good as a saint, but they provide an example for me to think I could perhaps match them I could control myself better.
Saints are humans that achieved what the living want to achieve: Heaven!

I guess it's a nice legacy. If I live a perfect, sinless life, I would like to be the Patron Saint of Heavy Construction Equipment.

Being dead in this essence is that one is spiritually dead and not physical dead. Saints are not consider being dead as they have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. Now here you are trying to say that a sinner is dead, yet, not a saint and is spiritually dead by rejecting God and his laws.

According to the Bible, everyone who's saved is a saint of God...you're talking catholic theology, and not Biblical doctrine.

Ah-- but that's the thing. Saints are not dead. Saints are alive in Heaven. They are MORE alive than you or me. Jesus said "I have come so that they may have life and have it more abundantly"
