Politics. Its no longer about good ideas, its about democrats and republicans. most people in this country dont know the difference between the two anymore. instead of bashing eachother and pointing fingers they should come up with better ideas. George Washington was a farmer. John Hancock was a buisnessman, Abe Lincoln was a lawyer. Benjerman Franklin, ... none of forefathers were politicians. they were well respected and intellegent men. not yuppie politicians.

Morals are heading down hill and freedoms are being taken away. Christian kids can't pray or read there bible in school but Muslims can take there time to pray. We will shortly have to have a national id card so that the government can have more control on our lives. We live like we are bullet proof and someday were going to find out that we are not. We take for granted the things we have and we live like it's all a game and that if it feels good do it.

The indescribable babbling of brooks. Though they can write
books for the United Nations, there is little paying homage to
the world talents, leaders, or owners. Americans are the nation
of children. Maybe there should be another flavor cherry pie.

apathy and selfishness.

we are more divided now as a nation than during vietnam. we expect the truth, but we don't demand it.

it seems no one cares enough to become involved or educate themselves, much less others.

people could move for change, but most aren't willing to give up anything to get there. no one is willing to sacrifice, to be thrown in jail, beaten, etc for a cause. everyone wants change, but no one wants to have to fight for it.

"it's not that we don't care, we just know that the fight ain't fair, so we keep on waiting. waiting on the world to change."

I hate that line from the john mayer song. why wait? so it's easier? easy is rarely rewarding.

Non stop fear propaganda coming through the tv and other media. "They" want us scared of everything from diseases to terrorism and running to doctors for prescription meds.

For example, how many people worldwide die from bird flu in one year? I think its less than 100. Your chances of getting struck by lightening are higher. But if you're afraid you'll run out and get the latest meds which makes millions for the drug companies. Follow the money. Just say no to prescription drugs!

Apathy. Too many people do not care about what is going on in our world. Too many people think they are safe. Too many people think we are still living in a world where we are protected. We aren't. We are a target and too many people do not even care. It is sad. We need to wake these people up and show them that the threat is real. Our future is in limbo.
