Imagine a man, who in his life was a good bloke, i dunno, maybe like a hindu monk etc. Anyway might have committed a couple of sins or something. He dies, and guess what - wakes up in hell (didn't believe in jesus, sorry mate you're f cked).
Anyways, in hell he's under unimaginable torment, he burns alive every second, his flesh searing in the lake of fire etc. etc. etc. He has burnt to a crisp a billion trillion times for every sin he ever commited and this is only the beginning.
He's screaming out for jesus to forgive him and save him, but god ignores him, quoting scripture and saying - you had you're chance mate when I died for you, didn't take it, now you pay the price etc.
Right, story over. Now I'm a bit confused - I read in the bible that Jesus told a story about a man dying at the side of the road. Now in the situation above (which is supposedly happens to all non believers when they die), is god like the pharisee, the levi or the samaritan?

Good one....
GOD, if IT exists in "NONE OF THE ABOVE" (NOTA)
The God of the Bible, a person, a man, and a jealous, angry, who has favourites, and chosen or "enlightened" is just an ancient "tribal" concept of God of which there are many and is not the ONE (CREATOR) that is ALL (the CREATION) or the UNIVERSE or MULTIVERSE.
The sun does not "reward the good" by shining more on them and curse the "bad" by witholding its light. We are, as the Egyptians thought, all made of Star stuff and without the sun, we would all die but we don't call the sun the a person's name. The same for the Galaxy or the UNIVERSE. We keep our names for these "life-giving" geometries and objects neutral and "objective" names. We should do the same with the CREATOR of ALL.
I like to call it the ONE
The ONE is numeric, neutral, is not gender-based and will not respond even if we all pray to IT together in a "temple" or church.
The ONE is not emotional (jealous, angry, lustful etc) but is peaceful and violent, is quiet and noisy, in other words is ALL...
The Biblical God, being one of the minor tribal gods, as the name comes from the germanic 4th century tribe the Goths and their cousins the "Visigoths" (children of Goth or "god"), and the Vandals (from which we got: "vandalism"). To keep their word for the "CREATOR" after their empire is long defunct is not very "intellectual". Also when you think that no one in the bible calls the Creator by that name but use the words Yahweh, or Elohim for the two tribes that formed the original state of Israel. Another Biblical name is the I AM THAT I AM (Moses on Mount Sinai)
So the God of children of Abraham is only one of the many desert gods in our long history of "MONOTHEISM". These many gods have kept us at war with one another and have frightened the "sh.t" out of many children, and have made others commit atrocious crimes.
This leads us back to your question...The story is Biblical and the ONE is neither of those Biblical Characters as they are "persons" and the ONE is a "SPIRIT" and is not a HE, a SHE, but an IT or a SHE/HE/IT. at the very least...

Let's start by putting the parable of the good Samaritan in its propper context.
Jesus had just told someone that the greatest commandment was to love God, and the second, to love your neighbor as yourself. To which the person replied " and who is my neighbor?". The scripture tells us that the reason the person asked that question was to justify his lack of love for certain people.
That being said, it is not reasonable to then say that God has failed to love anyone. He demonstrated His love in tha greatest way possible at the cross. He gave the only ransom acceptable for our sin.
What you're failing to recognize is the SERIOUSNESS of sin. In your question you say " he might of commited a couple of sins". You are trivializing sin. You really think that it's no big deal. Look at the cross! That's how serious sin is. Look at the cross! That's how much God hates sin. Look at the cross! that's how much God loves us.

Absolutely!!! It was something more formal, yet I used to talk to Him whatever the reason and because I kept forward to my own ambition and desires, when He gave me avertisements I saved none and did my way going into more and more trubles! Into an end, within a deep depresion, He saved my life (!!!) the very second I left away of all my deep desires... There, empty heart, I was filled with God's Light and Peace and Love - a complete New LIFE, a new body, a New Vision over the past and the future :) :) :) Yes, He is my Saviour!!!

You don't seem to understand the fundamentals of the rebirth. We are all ready dead spiritually. We need to be born of the Spirit of God. Without that, we have no life. And Hell is only the grave. When a person dies physically, he's dead period. It's not a place of eternally punishment like some would have it. It's an eternal "destruction".

Some liken God to George Bush---or George Bush to God. However, if there is a God "he" ( LOL) in the Bible is like the Good Samaritan. That's in the New Testament, of course, when "he" is not going around smiting people. Somehow George Bush reminds me of the Pharisee. I wonder why?

We are all energy and as such we are made in the image of God. Therefor God is all energy.
Good energy, Divine energy, High vibrational energy!!! AND we are all connected to that whole!
The Bible carries the truth but as infant spiritual beings we need to recognize that it speaks to us in pictorial ways (like parables) When we die we either come back to learn more about who we truly are (eternal divine souls) or we ascend in spirit to another dimension.

If they rejected Jesus in this life, they knew what they were doing. We are already condemned to eternal death however it may be. (lake of fire, darkness, place of weeping and gnashing of teeth, death)
Your Q however lies in the assumption that going to Heaven is somehow everyones birthright and that simply isnt the case. Heaven is reserved for forgiven people that honestly love God and did his will here on earth. When God gave us Jesus, he gave us salvation. You tell me why people reject him and eternal life?
