It is foolish that people translate it that semen come from the back of your bone.

about the rib thing.

"Among His sign that He created you(Adam) from dust, and then it(Eve)from Adam rib,and his offspring from semen, behold, you are human beings scattered!"

I would not let myself being spoonfed like you.

86:5 So let man consider from what he is created.
86:6-7 He is created from a drop emitted - proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs.
Sura 86:6 is interesting since it claims that during the act of sexual intercourse before which a man is created, the "gushing fluid" or semen issues from between the loins and ribs. Semen is apparently coming out of the area around the kidneys and back, which is a real problem for we know that the testicles are the sites of sperm production.

There is a rather less complicated explanation for this verse however. The Greek physician Hippocrates and his followers taught in the fifth century BC that semen comes from all the fluid in the body, diffusing from the brain into the spinal marrow, before passing through the kidneys and via the testicles into the penis. Clearly according to this view sperm originates from the region of the kidneys, and although there is obviously no substance to this teaching today, it was well-known in Muhammed's day, and shows how the Qur'an could contain such an erroneous statement.

This is written in the Koran. The Koran is the word of Allah. It cannot be changed. A devote Muslim must believe what is written.

@Enise A The Koran does quite clearly state where the sperm comes from there is no need for any further translation or understanding

"Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from a drop emitted - Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs:" S. 86:5-7 It is speaking of the prostate fluid.

1.) Abdomen, in anatomy, the cavity of the body between the chest and the pelvis in humans and all other vertebrates. The abdominal cavity contains major organs of the digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems.

2.) In a male, it holds the prostate gland. A two-layered membrane, the peritoneum, surrounds the abdominal organs. The peritoneum produces serous fluid, a clear, watery substance that lubricates the outer membrane to prevent friction as it moves against the abdominal walls.

3.) Prostate Gland, chestnut-shaped male organ located next to the bladder and surrounding the urethra (the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the penis). The prostate gland produces a secretion known as prostate fluid that makes up most of the liquid part of semen, which is discharged from the penis during sexual orgasm. Measuring about 3 cm (about 1.2 in) across, the prostate gland is composed of both glandular tissue that produces prostate fluid and muscle tissue that helps in male ejaculation. Prostate fluid also helps to keep sperm, which is found in semen, healthy and lively, thereby increasing the chances that fertilization will occur.

I'm not muslim but I got to anwser this one. Sometimes I think a man generates it from the toes. You know the way they curl up then the legs get real tense and then (oh, you know). I know one guy that could knock the paint off the ceiling. But, he says it's my fault.
