Honestly that is hard to answer. I think some of it is socialization, you are brought up to think a certain way, whether u want to or not. My family was a lil on the racist side. they didn't dislike people of other races but they felt that they couldn't be trusted,believed stereotypes(i.e. black people dance better),and felt that interacial marriage was awful. While i do not agree with their views i still feel uncomfortable with people of other races. It is something that i am working very hard at understanding, we all should try to be more open to one another. then we would realize we are more alike then different.

I usually judge people on things like, "Are they smart enough to post questions in the correct section" or "Do they know not to wear brown shoes with a blue suit?"

Sometimes, unfortunately, it is a product of their environment.....whether it be their family member or friends. They have been taught to think a certain way about people that are different than themselves. It is very sad. Maybe if they were less insecure about themselves they wouldn't waste time and energy in such a negative way.

OK let me put it this way, if you have an apple tree, and every night a known color of a person takes your apples, and every night that person is different, but the same color, one would tend to say, that color of person is untrustworthy, hatred will never go away, an yes, as many people say they are not, but somewhere down the line, race will play a part in your decision,
