I don't believe that God has a punishment all lined up for us when we die .He is a wonderful caring loving God.So Why do so many think he is waiting to send us off to the fire because we did something wrong. We are human?

for lets say three years, and his paritioners say they forgive him and only hold him accountable for being unfaithful to his wife and say they are not concerned that his infidelity was with another man, does that mean they are in favor of monogamous homosexual relationships? If not, why not? If the sex of the partner is not an issue as they say, then why would they not be in favor of same-sex marriages for monogamous committed couples? Is there a contradiction there?

A distant relative died and I made a donation to the university where he worked although his family did not suggest any memorial contributions be made. I donated online and the form did not ask for his family's address to send an acknowledgement. Would it be tacky for me to mention the donation in the sympathy card?

For example, "Dear Cousins, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. He contributed so much to the world. A donation to University X has been made in his memory. With deepest sympathy, Your Cousin".

ok i used to kinda hate gay people, but now i realized it's alright for people to be gay, but some gay people still bother me. and those are the people that go to gay pride parades and wear shirts that say like 'proud to be gay' and stuff. can someone explain to me why you have to be so obnoxious about it? it's not like i wear shirts that say i'm 'proud to be straight' and go to straight pride parades. i'm not tryin to sound mean by asking this, but how come some gay people are normal and some are just really annoying?

You don't have to know how an Internal Combustion Engine works before you can drive a Motor Car.......

So why get bogged down in the complexities of EG ?
It's slows your progress down and often gets so disheartening you give-up!

But maybe you know otherwise.....

I'm Irish & my daughter has very light skin but she has very frizzy hair. I had furniture delivered & one of the delivery men who happened to be black asked me if she had black blood in her. I was surprised he asked since her dad was there(also Irish) but I wasn't insulted by it I just thought it was a very wierd ? considering that she's so light. But I got a call from the manager of the store apologizing for the comment. Apparently his partner(also black) thought it was rude. Am I stupid or was it that bad of a ? to ask. I don't want the guy to get in trouble but I'm just wondering if there was a reason to get insulted. I didn't think twice about it. Would you ??

people seem to like loyalty in case of advising others, and for themselves they seem to prefer concepts rather than loyalty. What do you have to say?

And no, it wasn't "us who killed him." He came to earth already forseeing his inevitable death. If it was "us killing him," we would have been able to have the freewill not to nail him to the cross, but clearly he came here to a predestined life to end in brutal torture and murder.

The question again: Why would god necessitate, or choose as means, to have his only son brutally murdered to forgive us?

Modern research seems to indicate that sexual orientation can be proven to be influenced by variables other than choice and this gives future justification and validation for equal civil rights and freedom from demonization of part of our culture. However, on the otherhand, If, as some growing research indicates you came to find that your sexual orientation was to a greater or lesser degree determined by unnatural chemicals and not part of random evolutionary genetics, as would be the case for others now and in the past, would you seek more information? Would you seek medical advice? Would you open your mind to the new discoveries of science or stay in the social status quo of your community because it was comfortable?

No, not literally! I mean are people forming relationships with dogs in place of with other people. For example, I saw a woman in the mall caring a Chihuahua in her arms, clothing and all, while her small daughter lagged behind them.
