There is no hell or heaven,
But our thinking makes it so.

I agree with you that God is all compassion and loving kindness. What we should be worried about are our own acts of sin that leave a stain on our soul, that will lead to the appropriate consequences. God acts through his divine laws. To each according to his action. You will be judged by your own action, albeit in a benign way.

The word of God says the wrath of God falls on the children of disobedience.A lot of preachers like to scare us into believing if we don;t do everything they say we are doomed to hell, but the word of God tells me.....Eye has not seen nor hear heard nor entered into the heart of man the things God has prepared for those that love him. Also that a man can fall 7 times in a day and the Lord shall raise him up.I agree with you on God being a caring loving God to the believer but there is a lake of fire that will burn forever,I don't want to be there.

I'm impressed with your version of God's Word. I doubt you sell my books tho'.

False religionists have hatched the "no-hell" plot to gain adherence to their movements. Because multitudes--even 70 percent of the preachers-no longer believe or like to even consider that such a place exists, a new group can grow quickly if they, discount the claims of the Holy Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ by preaching pleasing platitudes which cater to rebellious minds. But Romans 3:4 says, Let God be true, but every man a liar. I don't care if every human being or preacher says, "I do not believe it." When I can find it 162 times in my New Testament, I will believe it! It is the Word-we must believe it!

Good Luck.

You need to go back and read your Bible. In the Old Testament He struck people dead for arousing His anger, over and over again. What makes you think that He won't ever punish anyone??? Remember the flood? Ever heard of Sodom and Gomorrah? Or we could fast forward to the New Testament Acts Ch 5 Ananias and Sapphira lied to Peter about how much money they sold their property for because they didn't want him to know that they were keeping some of the money for themselves and God struck them both down dead.

You need to go back and read your Bible. The one true God has a place of reward for those who are faithful and choose His Son Jesus Christ, but He also has created a place for those who reject Him or refuse to repent of their sins. Read Luke Ch 13 and you will understand this.

Your take on this is childish and unrealistic, and is not based on the truth.

It's time to grow up spiritually, and take responsibility.

And forget the history channel. They're interested primarily in producing content, and they aren't particularly concerned with theological truth.

Check out this site, which offers some amazing discoveries about Sodom & Gommorah, and several other ancient biblical places and events.

Then, look up the word "wrath" which refers to the righteous anger and corresponding just punishments from God, resulting from our sins.

God has every right to separate himself from those who already chose to separate themselves from him.

God freely gave us salvation through his son so we could avoid his wrath, and have a peaceful and eternal existence with him.

If we're too proud or too stupid to take him up on it, than we deserve whatever we get.

It's only by the grace and mercy of God that today's world is spared from his just chastisements for our many, many inquities.

Religion is all about beliefs in the first place since there are no reliable accounts of the afterlife. It's all based on different principles according to texts and personal beliefs. If you want a better understanding of religious beliefs, you have a long road of study ahead of you. Learn about the old pagan religions and work your way up to current religions and how they affect you as a whole. But be careful... this will not only change your views on religions, it will effect your life as a whole.

Unfortunately, He did give us free will. If that is what you believe, I'll be praying for you. Because make no mistake about it, there will become a day that at the Name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. I know who God is but for the sake of your soul, do you think you want to gamble with your decision?

Yes we are human.
I don't believe there is a literal place called hell.
I agree that God is extremely loving and compassionate.
