Perhaps a massive astroid impact destroying everything. That is unless pollution kills us all first. I don't think life is this negative. I believe in God.

Without God, its not a question of if these things will happen, but when.

You are free to think and believe what you like, as long as you don't go on and on and on and on and on about god and bore everyone within earshot. Get real and realise that there is no god. You are going to have to cope with life and death all on your own. It's really not that difficult if you have any intelligence. Do you?

I don't know if this is a question or your own personal belief, but since it is posted on Yahoo! Answers then I suppose this is a question.

The proposition "God exist" doesn't make a happy life. Oh sure, believers are happy, so does non-believers. If a massive asteroid is heading towards Earth, your belief and my non-belief will not alter its course. But as long as this asteroid is till not making its touch down, then its not a reason not to live anyone's life to the fullest.

The belief in a supernatural Big Daddy in the sky will not solve the pollution problem. Look at the United State for example, you guys got a Fundy for a president, yet you're still haven't reduce the pollution index of your country. The pollution problem will be solve if all the industrialized country in this world will cooperate one another to fight it.

Belief in a god is not a guarantee for a bright outlook in life. There are other means of doing it.In Buddhism for example, the Buddha have teach different outlook in life base on suffering. For Buddhism human suffering is the key for a happier life ahead, yet Buddhism doesn't need the help of a personal god belief. In case of atheism, some atheists who joined humanitarian works have a bright outlook in life, while others already have this peacefull outlook already. In my case, I don't believe in a god, but that doesn't mean I should stop living.

It's not what you believe that makes you happy, it's how you lived it.

Your thought process seems to be a bit irrational and emotionally affected. I do not see the logic in everything being all doom and gloom if God does not exist. Why would an asteroid hit us automatically if we find out God does not exist, and why would we kill each other off? Contrary to what some people believe; there are quite a few people out there who can lead moral and non violent lives not believing in a God. In the future, those that can not will be dealt with accordingly.

You're taking things way out of proportion. Just because God doesn't exist doesn't mean we're going to be crushed by an asteroid, or killed by pollution. God may not exist, and asteroids can still go in a different direction, and people may get aware on time about pollution, to stop the destruction.

A world without god is not necessarily bad. On the contrary, if there is no god above us, the world may be just as good or bad as WE (the only ones to exist) want to make it. If there is no god, our imagination is the limit. If you have a little trust in humanity, you'll see it's wonderful to realise that there is no god.

And I do think life is this positive! I don't believe in God.

If the CHRISTIAN God does not exist, then to Christians, yes all you have left is Doom and Gloom. To the followers of other faiths it probably would. I'm not sure about them. As for fellow Pagans, when "God" does not exist (because he is waiting to be reborn at Yuletide) then winter sets its graceful snows on the world. Its a time to honor the sleeping of Nature and contemplate on the things you wish to change in the following seasons.

Life can be as positive or as negative as you make it. You could use an attitude upgrade. Live your life to the fullest. Do live thinking that you'll be better off when you are dead. Because no religion can prove that heaven exists (no man of the cloth is in a hurry to get there). So if you die and then learn that there is nothing there you will say to yourself, "I should have lived my life fuller when I had it." Play it safe and live your life to the fullest, don't live life for death.

no life with or without god is beatiful
why must there be a god for a sunset to be spectacular
why can't we enjoy a flower's prowess without pasting religion on it

nothing is wrong with religion as long as you keep it personal when you sing to the heavens about how high and mighty you are to be whatever than it loses its purpose to give you closure and to help you

I love life whether its a sun shining day, a rainy glum , or just an ant on a window sill its all a magistry of life whether you see it as god's creation or a physics concotion life is gorgoues
so appreiciate every day

I'm decided that through years of thought on the matter and now I remain agnostic so I see all

If God doesn't exist, this is still an incredible universe we live in and my human form is capable, through evolution and natural selection, of appreciating it.

Are you sure you believe in God? It didn't sound like it. I don't have to think about all that because I know that He does exist.
