I need to clean some computers tomorow and they cant turn them off while I dust the keyboard so what two keys do I press to LOCK the keyboard

People there may not like me unplugging the keyboards, so if any one simply has the Key code that would be great and simple

There is a sequence of keys for the keyboard, I have just forgotten it.

Actually I found out through someone I know, thanks all.
Its 'windows key' & 'L'

Just unplug it. At least that way you'll know you won't accidentally hit the keys to turn it back on.

Edit: they may not like you unplugging it but it's the safest method. Just explain that to them. Most people with a brain don't try to tell you to do something with the computer when you're the person doing the maintenance.

And the computers can stay on, just unplug the keyboard.

I could begin the pc in risk-free mode and spot if it does the equal factor (press F8 even as the pc is beginning up). If it does it seems like a hardware dilemma of a few style. If its a computer I'd check out plugging one more keyboard into it and spot should you get the equal factor. If its a computer you may also have to name the company and feature it changed.

ctrl + alt + del and lock the computer.. that locks the keyboard as well, and besides if you want another option its only to unplug the keyboard.
