they seem to stereotype me because of being a cuacasian girl and alot of people say that i come of as soewhat snobby and closed minded but in reality i am one of the most openminded people you will meet.

how can i come off as more open to all races including the latino race? because i come to find people of different ethnicities some of the most amazing people.

I've been a Christian for ten years. I earned a degree in biblical studies and am well read in theology and philosophy. I am an artist showing my work in several big cities. I've lived in many places. But I am approaching thirty, lonely, bored, and listless. I moved to my hometown and I've not joined a church here. I don't communicate much with my old friends. It is like I am having a third life crisis or something. Like things are over. What do you make of this.

Note: I'm not interested in atheism or Wiccan or some other belief system. I have no intellectual dissatisfaction with my own faith. Thanks.

OK well i have a BIG question....i know only about 2 of you may agree with me but i still need to ask this, i dont understand the whole bible thing, i mean its a book of stories that arent even proven to be true, there is no actually evidence of god or jesus doing all the stuff the bible says he did. no offense to anyone who believes in it, i just sont understand it, my take on it is that i think someone got bored and just decided to write a book on how the world started. virgin mary getting pregnant with a baby known as jesus? i think she was married or something and cheated and instead of coming clean she just pretened to screw with people cuz know had done it before so why not make it all up?
plus, i have noticed that most people who are either druggies or abuse women or something seem to be the ones always saying they believe in god and all that. i mean whenever someone's life turns to crappy they say god will make it better, i just dont understand it all, i dont mean to offend.

i speak as an ex muslim,
koran says that an angel kept flying to and from allah's heavenly abode delivering divine messages to mohomed ok. reading these holy messages sends a shiver down my spine as they are filled with horror. and we have only mohomed's evidence that he received these messages. no one other than mohomed saw or heard this heavenly creature either. since i too did not see or hear this angel, as an educated man dont you think i have all the rights to reject this story as nonsanse?

My cousin is having a baby shower next weekend. A friend of hers informed us that she is bringing three very young children. The invitation didn't say NOT to bring children, but I thought it was understood that people shouldn't unless they ask first. This woman just announced she'd be bringing kids. How should we handle this? This house isn't equipped for young children, and has a lot of breakable stuff in it. Should the woman be informed not to bring her kids (feels rude, but it could really be a problem at the shower). Or just let it go?

hi everyone.. how is the concept of prophethood in christianity, do christianity believe in prophets? Bacause in islam we are told about 25 prophet and some of their names appear in the bible too, only there were many differences.. do christians respect their prophets? and do they acknowledge that they are God's messenger on earth?

Listen, when you ask a question, you must be open to different answers. No one shares the same opinions as you. Do you think you will only get the answers you seek?

I'm tired of getting reported for being honest. And judging from the only three times I've been reported, most are children who take offense to me telling them to do their own homework. All I do is suggest you do your own research, you can find the answers as fast as I can.

If you can't take the heat, then think about what you ask ahead of time.
