If you do, you must not be Christian, for you do not believe or follow all of the instructions in the bible.

*EDIT*
Just wanted to prove a point, people. I noticed that a lot of fundamentalist christians, who believe and follow 'everything that is written in the bible, since it's from God' (their words) have not responded.
The Bible is up for interpretation, heck, even Jesus spoke in parables.

Christ was here before someone else wrote the bible's new testament and rewrote the whole bible: ....So I don't agree ...any point of view can be found somewhere in the text if you quote on a sentence by sentence basis. But I 'm still skeptical even of contextual scripture....and Leviticus was jewish law if i'm wrong correct me.

Do you know that circumcision for men is a method of sanitation, not just a religous rite? I can see those practices as ways for the Jew to be seen as different looking than others, can't you? Since the advent of Jesus, looking different is no longer the issue, acting different would be if trusting in God were a defining practice. Don't Christians, muslims, and other religions trust God to do whats best without their input? Imagine, God really needing mans help...

Okay, matt, I would like to explain someting, this is an example of cultural law for those people at that tme, those Laws no Longer applie to us and were nder the new covenant of grace. those Laws were for the jes at the time of leviticus, and they are by no means directed at Christans in the modern age. the Only Law that is Absolute is the Hoyl Moral law of God (Ten Commandments) For example
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and the BIble says if you have hated someone, God considers you to be a murderer. The Bible says these commandmet s will be Gods standard of judgement on judgement day. would you be innocent or guilty? ofcourse we would all be guilty and have to face Gods Justice in hell. but thats Not Gods will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name and the BIBle says if you will repent (turn from sin) and place your fatih and trust in jesus, God will then forgive you and grant you the gift of everlasting life.

It has been agreed upon by the early Apostles of the Christian Church that the only laws gentile Christians need obey are those that are moral in nature, and not those which served to set Israel apart as a nation. This is the teaching of St. Paul in particular.

No, it makes me not Jewish.
Acording to Paul, Christians are not bound by the Law Of Moses.
You really need to read the Bible before you start quoting things out of context. It makes you sound stupid.

Good point. I've always noticed that Christians will quote Leviticus for what they don't want others to do, but will say it's not relevant about something they want to do.
