she asked me tonight if it was something i grew up and learned or if it was something i felt. this was a perfect witness opp. for me. a divine appointment for her. i told her it was something i felt. like a viod i had in my life and i learned that god could fill it so i talked to him, and asked him to fill it. what else can i tell her to keep her on the right path. i do not live near her, and i will not live near her till feb. but i want to keep her ont he right track, any help here?

Personally, I'm a Christian that is tired of the "religious right" dictating how and what I should believe. I'm tired of the church pushing politics. I'm tired of other "christians" that argue with anger and push a religion they know very little about. I'm tired of non-believers pushing thier religion by telling me I'm brainwashed or somehow less intelligent because I believe in a higher power. I was baited into a discussion today about religion and was told I was "Godless" because I didn't agree with some republican veiwpoints. For some reason, in the area I live, if I agree with a republican -I am a right wing religious fundamentalist. If I agree with a democrat, I am an unpatriotic left wing liberal. I'm not sure why or when being a Christian liberal became an oxymoron. I believe in civil liberties -so that makes me a liberal, and I believe in God - so I'm a neo-conservative. I know some responses will be insults, but I needed to vent. Is anyone else tired of politics and religion?

Does it say in the bible that your future is in the stars. And is the month you were born in linked in anyway to the 12 tribes of Juda? I don't believe in the astrological signs but I've heard other people say there is some biblical base to them. Is this true and if so were in the bible does it say so?

while Jesus walked the Earth He was never called Jesus. Jahovah has 5 other names. All the names we associate with the God of Abraham have one thing in common do you know what it is??
When Abram became a believer he became AbraHAm when Saria became a believer in the one true God she became sarAH. Jesus is pronounced JesAHss. In His life His name sounded yes-u-AH. The jews called God yeAHway or JehovAH.

how come when people refer to an abomination they mean something that is unforgivable. i have a study bible and i've read leviticus ch 18 - 20. it states that an abomination means when you die you will be smited. a smite is like a smack to the back of the head. we will all be smited for our sins. so why do people say being a homosexual is an abomination, meaning unforgiveable, when being straight can be a sin too. i'll explain. within those verses it states that if you think it you might as well have done it. a straight guy looks at a girl and thinks 'oh god i wish i could mount you on the bed and f*ck your brains out.'

I live with friends He is muslim his wife isn't, I currently don't come out of my room as he expects me to cover my arms and legs while he is fasting. i wear loose pants but cannot tolerate my arms being covered, I never have been able to do this as i sweat too easily and skin starts itching with rash. He is upset that i won't come out of my room and insists i come out sit and talk and cover myself completely. I don't show any clevage or legs but refuse to cause myself discomfort by wearing sleves.. I understand he isn't allowed to look at another woman but why should i be forced to cover my arms when i'm not muslim?
