if you read Genesis, Chapter No. 4, Verse No. 12, it says… ‘God told Cain: you will never be able to settle you will be a wanderer.’ Few Verses later on Genesis, Chapter No.4, Verse No.17, says…‘Cain built up a city’ – unfulfilled prophecy. If you read Jeremiah, Chapter No.36, Verse No.30, it says that…‘Jehoiachin the father of Jehoiachin… no one will be able to sit on his throne - The throne of David, no one will be able to sit after Jehoiachin.’ If you read later on, II Kings, Chapter No 24, Verse No 6, it says that… ‘Jehoiachin after he died, later on Jehoiachin sat on the throne’ - Unfulfilled prophecy. One is sufficient to prove it is not the word of God - I can give plenty. If you read Ezekiel, Chapter No 26, it says that…‘Nebuchader, he will destroyed Tyre.’ We come to know that Alexander the great, was the person who destroyed Tyre - Unfulfilled prophecy.

It's Sunday morning, the First day of the Week. You should be going to Church to worship, learn more of Gods word, and to recieve the Lords Supper in remebrance of Jesus. If you're not going, why? What in this life is more important than salvation, and continuing your walk with the lord? This is a serious question from a fellow Christian just trying to get an idea of what other Christians are thinking in regards to the reasoning for not attending...

This question has probably already been asked before. It just irks me how it is under "Society & Culture" and then under "Cultures & Groups".

does it still bother you today, or did it help you in some strange way.
I don't know if this was the worst thing anyone has ever told me, but it really hurt at the time because a lad at school once said to me infront of a huge group "you are the ugliest girl i have ever seen in my life" he then proceeded to laugh really loudly along with all the others!
I think it really affected me cos i always felt uglier than my friends at school after that!
I never agreed with the sticks and stones line..........

In the war between Israel and Lebanon the so called terrorist group , Hezbollah kille around 50 Israeli civilians while Israel killed aroud 3000 civilians. Israel took over Palestine by kicking out innocen slaves. In 1982 every one saw Israel tried to illegally occupy Lebanon. America just tried to take Iraq for its oil and tried to make themselves some hereos. Oh yeh, for my brothers, never trust what television says since 75% of it is controlled by Jews and Americans. Al Jazeera the channel not controlled by Jews is a good channel seeing Americans tried to take it of air.

the reason i ask this is that the concept of the trinity, which no matter how you put it is a human interpretation as it is not stated in the bible, means that you have to accept that god is too complex in nature for us to understand. i disagree however and argue that through reading the bible he is very clear, jesus refers to him as THE FATHER, who commanded him to do everything.. and who jesus prays to throughout the bible: 1 eg. matthew 26:39Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
there are hundreds of examples where jesus is praying to god the father! and god empowers him, he cannot do anything with his own will but that of gods! he is very clear.. read jesus's words and you will see this message. if jesus was god who did he pray to? and why does jesus forget to mention the trinity to any1? rem he was a practicing jew who believed in 1 divine god only!

"Enter yes in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate: and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Matthew 7:13-14

Looking over the answers to my questions today, I see many would eviscerate the Word so they can make the narrow way broad enough to fit their corrupted interpretation of the Word. They ignore that "few there be" who will find the narrow path to life, believing in their arrogance they can gainsay the Word, or even ignore it altogether.

They would turn the narrow way into a freeway where everyone finds life, even themselves.

They preach, even though they do not have a perfect understanding of the Word and do not walk in perfect accord with the Word (Matthew 7:15-27). They think themselves holy for preaching what they do not understand, and do not follow.

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father..."Mt5:48
