Are you aiming this solely at English people or can us Welsh, Scots and Northern Irish have a say too?

I have just emigrated to Atlanta. I'm job searching via the internet using lots of agencies. There are plenty of jobs but no-one is giving me the chance. I have over 20 years office management and accounts experience but I do not have a degree. I've always had good jobs where my experience has been recognized. Any ideas out there please of who I should be applying to or what they would perhaps prefer?

Well, 10 years ago I would have said "OZ
needs you, boy". BUT unless "things" change
rapidly, you might as well emigrate to the
Iraqi DESSERT, WHERE land and houses
are MUCH cheaper....
On the other hand , TRY TO LOOK AT THE
B I G G E R PICTURE , ask; WHY are
there so much more BURQAS AND VEILS
around MY home town, as 50 yrs ago !
There are STILL the same amount of DATES
AND CAMELS , AS there were 50 yrs ago...
Therefore '; WHY IS IT SOOOOO ????

If we emigrated to other countries, the people in those countries would be complaining about immigrants - like we do! Other countries have problems, too - we should just be happy to live & die here.

It does'nt look like we have does it. I would emigrate to Australia their lifestyle is much better than ours. Ours is a rat race and an existance.Austrailians are allowed to voice their opinions unlike us "Brits".

Stay there. We don't need any more illegals in America. In fact, I'd like to come and join you, you have less stiff butted people over there that don't throw religion at you while they cheat you in business. Your tv shows are a lot better too.

Its a great country, but saddly not the same country I was born in.
Its change too much, its now getting to the point wherre you cant do or say anything.
We are said to be "multi-cultured", maybe too much.
Sign me up for the plane to anywhere, (US, Canada, Oz)

I want to emigrate to barbados, I am sick of it here in our great land...... It doesn't feel like home anymore. Its the first time this year I went on away holiday and wanted to stay away from my homeland.

Well, the trick is to find a large expanse of land which nobody else fancies living in and to make it habitable, after which they'll all want to move in. Greenland?
