Mine sounds really lame, but I still remember it so clearly:
There was a girl, (as much as I'd like to name and shame her, I won't!) who was always jealous of my friendship with 2 other girls and tried to push me out whilst insinuating herself into the group. She said many things, but the one I most remember was at school, coming back into the classroom after going for a pee. Everyone was really quiet, studying and she said very clearly, "My God, why do you have to always walk like that?" Everyone of course looked at me and the attention made me walk like a drunk chicken to my seat!
I was so humiliated and to this day still worry what was it about the way I walk!

Well...many things have been said to me that were hurtful and/or insulting, but this one probably takes the cake.
I used to play girls' basketball in secondary school. The training was always hard - rounds around the school's perimeter, sets of push-ups and sit-ups, endurance tests...and my teammates would almost always cheat on their quotas. The few times I tried to get them to finish up, they effectively told me to **** off. My coach never wised up to their dishonesty, but the collective lack of practice always showed up in competition, when we would lose over and over again. But on my own I never skimped. I kept going even when I had run myself ragged. I filled in the remaining hoop shots that my teammates skipped. I did everything that was required of me and more. However, because of my teammates' mistreatment and the consequent depression at the time, I barely improved, even with practice, and eventually fell from being one of the top two new players to second-last.
...One day, my coach basically told me that no matter how hard I tried, I would fail if I wasn't "suited" for that sort of thing.
I quit shortly after. I couldn't feel much anymore at the time, but the effects of what he told me have been lasting.
Ah well. Sticks and stones, eh? Maybe I'll kill him if I ever see him again.

One of my former work colleagues once slayed me in front of the whole office, telling me I had absolutely no common sense at all. No reason for it she just went into a complete rant at me and that was the most hurtful thing. Yet she was the one who was married to a wife beater! Anyway just over a week later I ran her over in my car!! It honestly was a complete accident but everyone thought I did it on purpose!

It wasn't said to me but to my 9 year old son. We were in a check out line and he had stopped at the toy display while I was paying and he walked up crying and I asked him what was wrong and he told me that a man had told him to go back to Africa. I said who--you know I was very angry--and he points out this guy who had to be in his mid fifties!!! I said you are a grown a** man telling a 9 year old child something like that. Anyway I tore him up verbally and he apologized in front of everybody and I will never forget this incident for the rest of my life.

I've had a lifetime of it, although it doesn't happen so much now. Best trick is to ignore it - they're only looking for a response from you. OR think up your own insults - it's better somehow if THEY haven't said them to you, cos if they know you agree with them they can't make fun of you. I find it works. Good luck.

Yeah someone at my college saying to me how come you dont look as pretty as your sister?
I didnt know what to say to him i was shocked that someone could be so cruel. My sister is a year younger than me, taller than me, long blonde hair, she basically looks like barbie.
Ever since that ive had low self esteem, and always ask my fiance why he picked me over my sister, even though we have a baby together.
I dont now why people have to be so mean is it because they dont like themselves, they are just bullies to me.
I wish back in school I had the guts to stand up to some people and put them in their place. Theyre just nasty!

They are equal in their devastation, as they both came from my wife.
The first was in June 1993.
I was lying in bed and I rolled on my side and put my hand on her hip. She picked up my hand with two fingers and flung it away. She turned to me and said "I have never enjoyed having sex with you."
I viowed she would never hurt me like that again.
February 2006. She is in the kitchen and I put my arms about her. She recoils from me and proclaims, "You're 50; why are you still horny?"
Needless to say, I was hurt.

my grandad told me that i had never done anything to make him proud and that he was no longer my grandad................ all i did was stick up for my sister...... im a genuine every day sort of bloke... i haven't spoke to my grandad in about 5 years and hes the only one i have left, but i have morals and as much as it can get to me I'm better off without him in my life...
my life is for me to live not for others to judge or to try and live it for me... as for that stupid kid at your school i bet he is and always will be insecure..
