This wasn't the last time, but I saved someone from drowning 2 years ago although thinking about it, I wasn't really going out of my way, just doing what any decent person would do.

A couple of months ago my wife and I were at the drug store getting our medicine filled and there was a woman and a young boy in the parking lot having car trouble and they were on their way to take the little boy to a Drs appt. We gave her our cell phone to call the Dr office to say they were on their way and then we took them to the Dr office. At the same drug store a month before, we helped a woman who had run out of gas....took her to get a gallon of gas and helped put it in her car so she could get home. It makes me feel good to do things to help other people. It seems like God uses that spot to bring needy people into our lives. Then it's our decision what to do.....help or look the other way. You wouldn't believe how many people walked past them and looked the other way. Sad world we live in.

Apart from standard holding doors and giving bus/train seats to little old ladies and pregnant women.

I recent dragged a branch out of the road I was walking up so that no cars would crash into it. And got beeped and shouted at for being in the middle of the road, for my trouble.

I try to do something good every day, whether I'm out or answering questions from you guys. It's also nice when people say thanks & appreciate what you've done for them - but don't ASK for thanks - just remember not to help them again.
