the reason i ask this is that the concept of the trinity, which no matter how you put it is a human interpretation as it is not stated in the bible, means that you have to accept that god is too complex in nature for us to understand. i disagree however and argue that through reading the bible he is very clear, jesus refers to him as THE FATHER, who commanded him to do everything.. and who jesus prays to throughout the bible: 1 eg. matthew 26:39Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
there are hundreds of examples where jesus is praying to god the father! and god empowers him, he cannot do anything with his own will but that of gods! he is very clear.. read jesus's words and you will see this message. if jesus was god who did he pray to? and why does jesus forget to mention the trinity to any1? rem he was a practicing jew who believed in 1 divine god only!

Trinity is an attempt to show the different aspects of God.
It confuses more people than it helps.

Well first accept that you are on a journey the goal is not to get to the end of the trip but to experience all that you can as you travel.
The journey we all are on is one to find, learn from and understand God the universe and everything including ourselves.
The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy of 5 books has this concept correct. The answer makes no sense so then you need to figure out the question.
I have learned in my journey that answers always lead to more questions. If I have trouble grasping a concept I can set the question aside and live in Faith taking up he question again after I have a little more understanding under my belt.
Life with God is to be enjoyed not analyzed and dissected. Just as the sum parts of the human body and its functions is disgusting that should not interfere with your enjoyment of the company of the person.

The idea of the Trinty is Biblical. only the word 'Trinty' is manmade.
1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word [Jesus], and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Jesus prays to the Father because, while they are one God, they are three persons of the one God.
Jesus clearly knew this since He said: -
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

i might might desire to assert that became Mrs. Huger. She became my English instructor. English is my 2d language, and he or she advised me from day one which i wouldn't in any respect be waiting to bypass her classification (she tought my sister, who only did no longer get it, nevertheless would not communicate English at present). nicely, years later, I bumped into her, all started a verbal replace along with her in English, and he or she ought to maintain up, because of the fact her understanding did no longer pass previous what became interior the books she had for coaching.

We are not babies, that God will do everything for us. We are
powerful physical/spiritual beings, who can go anywhere
in Creation just by thinking about it! We have to learn
self-control.

John 17:3, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" Proverbs 8:17," I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me." James 4:8 tells us to "...draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you." The Holy Ghost is a revelator and can also help reveal the Father to us and to guide us into all truth.
In Acts 7:56 when Stephen was being stoned to death being full of the Holy Ghost he said, ..."Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."
I believe in the correct translation of the beginning of Genesis it reads " in the beginning the "Gods" (plural) created the heaven and the earth and the "Gods" (plural) did such and such. One may wonder to whom the Lord was speaking when He said, "let us make man in OUR image." One such answer is that the Gods referred to were first,Elohim (also spelled Eloheim), which is God the Father, and second,Jehovah ,which is God the Son, and finally, the Holy Ghost, which three make up what is referred to collectively as the Godhead. Joseph Smith recorded "...when the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air." And "One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other - This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!" Now we have to either accept that the boy prophet Joseph Smith did in reality see what he said he saw or that he didn't. If he did, God the Father and His son Jesus Christ are two distinct and separate individuals. Do not be too quick to discount what Joseph said because even in the Old Testament Book of Joel Chapter 2 verses 28 and 29 it is recorded, "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: (29) And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit." Paul counseled in 1 Thessalonians 5:21,"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." I sincerely believe with all my heart and after having a witness of the Holy Ghost that the boy Joseph Smith was and is a true prophet of God. I further believe the counsel which is given in the Book of James in the New Testament Chapter 1 verse 5 which reads, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not and it shall be given him." Verse 6 reads, "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." I know that God lives, that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and that His church has been restored. I know this is true and bear you my solemn testimony in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. And you can pray and God can and will reveal it to you in the same manner as Peter when the Son of God told him in Matthew chapter 16:17 "...for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven." God bless you in your endeavors to find and know God. You might ask some missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to come explain the great message they have to offer. Or visit the official Church website www.mormon.org. My wife and I were baptized almost thirty years ago. It has brought us more blessings than I can explain. Love, Brother Lynn
