Travelling on the bus to school on Friday. I offered an elderly lady a seat and was accused of being an "Agest" by her.
I told my teacher & she said that the UK had gone mad with being PC, is this true? I was only being polite.

I will go to London for a job trip, and I would like to create a business card to promote my translation services.
Under my name I would like to write a slogan , 2 or 3 lines to help the people to understand immediatly what I do..
I work as freelance translator from several languages TO Italian, can you suggest me a slogan?

I'm pretty much asking whether or not you think a person believing in evolution can still call themselves a Christian, or would they be considered something else?

Many great things come from religion, but being a knowledge-seeking person I can't deny the apparent validity of evolution.

i am not a perfect person and so are the people here on earth because nobody is perfect.. I must admit, I've done some stupid things but i don't consider myself as a bad person.. I've been through a lot of pain and sacrifices. I learned from my mistakes and trying to have a better life though it's hard... If there's one thing that i want to say to myself, it should be:

a lot of religions have uniforms for women, like christain nuns and orthodox jewish women who shave their heads and wear wigs. Why do people pick on Muslim women so much that they can't see their own cultures. i,m a 14 yr old white girl and i live in an area with about 20 per cent muslims and they are so well behaved and friendly and i think the girls look beautiful in their scarves, they have interesting shops and wonderful food and a culture thousands of years older than ours. There are, i think, one billion muslims in the world today but so many people imagine Bin Lardin and his sisters every time they see a muslim, seems the same as me seeing Jim Jones and his itzy bitzy cult everytime a see a white person. i'm young, but please i have to say, and i dont wont to sound disrespectful but grow up please.

I have commented about this before. The people with all the hilarious stuff here are really destroying the integrity of this forum. I do not bother responding to their stuff. And I am not a cyber crybaby or tattle tale so I do not run to Mommy Yahoo.Which does no good anyway. Even if something is removed they are back again in minutes with more.

I think somehow Yahoo should be forced to have someone monitor this forum 24/7 and immediately remove the garbage.

Any ideas?

i know this might sound silly..but i just wanna know your opinion. Few days ago there was a company vacation. we went to an island. it was 10 of us, 7 males (including my boss) and 3 females. we rented 3 villas, each villa for 3 person. i happen to be stayed in the same villa with my boss and other 2 staffs (we stayed in the biggest villa with private swimming pool.. i think that's because the boss). When me and my other 2 friends were talking, suddenly my boss walk out from his room completely naked. we were confused why he's naked?then he told us that he wanted to swim in the villa's private pool. and for the rest of the day he stayed naked, he even slept naked too. he said that he enjoy being naked. i know this isn't our first time to see naked man, but he's our boss.. eventhough he's just few years older than us.. it's kinda awkward. the good thing was the next days in the villa he kept his clothes on (we were there for 3 days,2 nights).what do u guys think, do u feel comfortable b
