I went to a baptist chuch and recieved in my bullitan a brocher that stated vote No in November and stated the churches views on Stem Cell research. Is this leagle? Is this what I can start to expect at churches now?

More people have got away for the true purpose of the church is which is soul business, most people refer to the quote in leviticus which says that mankind shall not lie with mankind as he lie with women, not putting anything god or the bible down but the last time i checked that is the same chapter that also says that man shall not eat shell fish and research says that nearly 90 percent of americans eat shellfish at least 5 times during thier life (SHELL FISH: crab, shrip & crawdads) but if we focus so much on the gay issue then why dont we focus on that, I think that we god created us he created us to be good people not to be hateful and cruel people, and the church offers no support was so ever go in almost any church and mention that urs gay and see doesnt the church turn away for u being christans, if anything if u tell me u are gay they should try to do somethin for u if they believe it is so wrong, i am a good person that jus happens to me attracted to other males, anybody else?

An aunt of mine that died when we were kids was asking who the man dressed in white was at the foot of her bed.

She wasn't on any drugs or anything, she had a problem with her heart and this was before doctors knew enough to help her.

But for the last half hour to hour before she died she was fixated on the foot of her bed smiling at someone the rest of us couldn't see.

She said he was dressed in white and glowing, me and her wasn't but about five years old then.

I've heard Jesus takes care of the children in heaven, could I have spent and hour or so in the same room with Jesus before she died?

I don't care what people think of my beliefes. I don't care if you agree. I am a christian and don't wont to convert you. I am so secure.....but if I am secure and don't care, then why do I have to post this? Why do I keep saying this? If I was secure, I would not need to keep saying I am secure, and would not care what people post. Oh well, guess I forgot to think before posting..as usual. Guess I as a christian am not so secure.

Why would he have a son for the sole purpose of dying for our sins? To be omnipotent is to be all-powerful, which means that he could've done ANYTHING to solve that pesky little problem, so why did he chose the sacrifice of a human being? Is it that he's not really omnipotent, or is it just that he's bloodthirsty and sadistic?
