Ay Dios Mio Pronunciation

Nice thing about spanish is that everything is pronounced how you see it for the most part. The vowels typically just have a single sound.

e sounds like eh
a sounds like the ah
o sounds like... well oh. almost like a hard O
i sounds like ee
u sounds like oo (a sharp sound)

hence Te Amo sounds like T-eh Ah-moh
also, if you say them quick enough, you will start to understand the linking between words.
ie: #6 would sound like Lokay se-ah pehr-de-dohr

Dont know if that helps, but hopefully
G'luck

1. My favorite is Lucy...it's pretty, spunky, smart-sounding, and timeless, and has one clear pronunciation. 2. I also like Lucia...it's beautiful and elegant, I just don't like that it has three different pronunciations for people to mix up (the English LOO-sha, the Spanish loo-SEE-a, and the Italian loo-CHEE-a). 3. I don't care for Lucielle...it seems made-up and overly frillified to me. Lucille would be better. (I'd rank Lucille below Lucy, but above Lucia due to its being simpler to pronounce.)

In Spanish, the 5 vowels are pronounced always in the same manner, doesn't matter the word, so, its easy then;

a; like in mark
e; like in rent
i; like in sick
o; like in job, rob, etc..
u; like the double oo in bloom, room, etc..

When theres a "que" or "qui", group, you dont pronounce the "u".

Now, you can read spanish pretty well. You wont understand anything, but hey, thats some progress at least...
