Just wondering what causes the pain that I read in many responses? Are you angry, lonely, hurting, tired? What is it that makes it all better? Not trying to push my beliefs on you, just trying to understand differences in the human race.

This is a safe haven for releasing pent up frustration. You don't have to face the people you are shouting at, you can let everything out and gain some level of calm within yourself by doing so.

The pain comes from not being able to express ones true feelings. We tend to bottle these feelings up so as not to hurt the people we care about. They may only be small pains but they can accumilate.

But we should not dispair. I gain great pleasure within this medium in providing others with answers to their problems. I help take away their pain and doubt through kind words, informed opinion, and shared knowledge.

The pain is caused by the memory of a past hurt, usually associated with something from childhood when you had very little control over a similar situation.

Well, the only way I can explain it is by posing another question - Can I push my beleifs on you?? Cuz then you would know what causes the pain.....Mostly ANGER in my case.
Yopu, as an individual, may not push your beleifs....but your brothers and sisters certainly do, and so does the current political administration.

*Your* own mind causes it. You're seeing "pain" where there is none, because it's easier for you to think that people who don't believe in god do so because they're "in pain", or angry, lonely, hurting, or tired, or any other negative emotion you can randomly select, than to think that they don't believe because they know it isn't true.
