This is a really silly question, but I've been pondering about it for the last few days...
Why do a lot of the Christian fundie girls have cowboy hats on their avatars? Is it because they support Dubya, the "cowboy president?" Or is it for other reasons?

They are mostly from the South, which is Bible Belt territory.....
Ive also noticed that fundie girls give the best BJs too..... Its all the practice eating the body of Christ!

No, it's because it's the closest to a ladies sun hat that Yahoo has for the Avatars, silly.
As a well-dressed lady I love wearing hats.
When Yahoo has more of a hat selection I will change it accordingly.
And yes, I do wear a hat to church to cover my hair since it states in 1 Corinthians 11:5-16 that I should.
Since this is a Religion area my Avatar is appropriately clothed.

I haven't noticed that...perhaps they tend to be from small western towns? I'm thinking of that case publicized on tv - think it happened in Oklahoma - non-christian girl actually accused of witchcraft and went to trial.
It's not just the south.....stereotypically speaking of course.
Oh yeah, or Texas.
And hmmm.....I would have been hard pressed to say my catholic upbringing was good for anything, except sometimes knowing the answer in trivia games. But now I see that it apparently contributed to my "oral" skills....lol
