Exodus 13:9--
And it shall be for a SIGN unto thee upon thine hand, and for a MEMORIAL between thine eyes, that Yahweh's Law may be in thy mouth; for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.
Ezekiel 20:12-13,16,20--
12 Moreover also I gave them MY SABBATHS; to be a SIGN between me and them, that they might know that I am Yahweh that sanctify them.
13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and MY SABBATHS they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
16 Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my SABBATHS: for their heart went after their idols.
20 And HALLOW MY SABBATHS; and they shall be a SIGN between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Yahweh your Father
.
The Hebrew word translated sign is owth, and means mark. When one obeys Yahweh’s Laws, and observes His Ordinances which govern His Feasts--Doing Every Word That Proceeds From Yahweh’s Mouth, this person is marked by Yahweh as belonging to Him.
Yahweh’s mark is in this person’s forehead because this person’s mind is upon Yahweh and His Every Word. Yahweh’s Mark is also in that person’s hands because that person’s hands cease from doing any work on Yahweh’s Sabbaths. Yahweh’s Mark is the sign upon one’s hands and a remembrance between one’s eyes.
In the same context, when a person obeys Satan--by rebelling against Yahweh in any way--that person is also marked as belonging to Satan! We are told plainly that we are servants to whom we obey, in:
Romans 6:16--
Do you not know that to WHOM YOU YIELD YOURSELVES AS SERVANTS TO OBEY, HIS SERVANTS YOU ARE WHOM YOU OBEY--whether of sin, which leads to death, or of Obedience, which leads to righteousness?
