Do you agree with me if I say to reason with people regarding religious matter is the hardest? People prefer to slander and call names when they don't see what they like. When it's about Islam, people prefer to twist here and there, NEVER answer to the questions directly.

To have a fair and equal dialog regarding religion is tough. People only feel their own religion is the best EVEN WHEN THEY KNOW ONLY A BIT. Do you agree?

Normally I do not observe this but this year have been completely meat/fish/egg free for the Navratri period.
If you are doing the same, have you found it hard or easy to do.
I am finding it reasonably easy.

I've noticed most of the users are from the US. Is it that Yahoo Answers is most popular there?

E.G. when people say "oh that's cool" - is anyone else getting fed up with things being cool?
I would prefer some passion. Isn't this just minimalism in a colloquial word?

And what about this word ''partner'' ? Does anyone out there privately cringe when they hear this word when someone is referring to their wife, girlfriend, fiancee. And has this asexual term come about because the politically correct need not to offend homosexuals ?

And like the scene in film Falling Down starring Michael Douglas in the fast food restaurant when he asks ''why are we all using our first names - I feel like I'm at an AA meeting" - where is the respect in someone calling you by your first name - who doesn't know you ?

Comedy now is a minefield of who you must not offend !

Isn't this the problem with the world in general - that it is unseemly to cause a scene - to be passionate - you have to be grey and have a ''partner'' - where has all the colour gone in life?

Aren't we now too tightly wrapped ?

I am looking to buy various things mostly real not faux things from animals though I don't agree with harming animals so if anyone is aware of a supplier can you hook me up. and this is posted in religion because the items are used for pagan religious ceremonies.

Any one being derogatory, inflamatory, insulting, or discriminating will promptly be reported. Also if you find the urge to tell me I need to find jesus be aware and inform I consider such actions as being harassing and ignorant I don't push my religion on you dont push yours on me.

this ritual would involve the exchange of blood between two people (a man and a woman). this would be more of a sexual as well as a binding rite or ritual. I have inquriers out to all the BDSM groups I'm a member of so that might help as well. like I said it would be more of a pagan rite I believe, but really not sure . so any information and possibly a web addy to go along would be great. also looking for where I might find a cermonial blade to preform the ritual as well, it would have to be a blade with a real edge because I plan on cutting the skin to draw the blood.

Im an atheist. I have some christian friends/accquantence. I would think that religious freedom is a more acceptable position to take. Only allowing one set of beliefs or non beliefs is something i would strongly protest. However I am wondering if this is really a beneficail position to take. Should Laws be made or invented somehow to help put a STOP to religious madness.
Or should there be some effort to strongly reinforce scientific education to help combat things like what is in this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=037HvQ1TyGM
So many groups are like this one all over the world. I dont think freedom of religion is all that is needed, much more emphasis on education needs to accompany it, outlawing religion is just desasterous. what do you think?
Clearly moderate christianity only encourages this type of insanity to prosper.
