Yes. The ingrained uncertainties of life make spirituality unavoidable even for the pure scientist, although he may not like to admit.

Hi Angel. Oh yes, in fact that is one of the real characteristics that makes us human. Our ability to be aware that we are living creatures in a mysterious universe and to believe that we are not alone in this reality, but engaged with a transcendent personality beyond our understanding: all of that is what helped us to come down from the trees and walk upright. We all have the gift of a curious love: and we call it spirituality.

I don't think so, humans are inquisitive by nature as you can tell by any child's constant barage of questions, unfortunately religion tries to stifle this intellectual inquisitiveness by saying it has all the answers so don't think beyond the answers we give to you ... for some people that's the end of thinking. Sure they can think about religion all day but they don't venture outside any more...they are effectively intellectually dead or anyway totally confined and shut in their box like a breathing corpse, buried alive.
So no, I think spirituality is imposed on us by superstitions (a result of ignorance) by traditions and religious dogma about having souls etc and it's not intrinsic to the human psyche in my opinion.

No. In fact the question gets it somewhat backwards. Human beings are by nature curious, frightened, wary around strangers, disturbed when uncertain, seekers of power, lovers of affiliation. Religion has evolved to take advantage of those characteristics, but we certainly don't have any kind of "innate spiritual nature".

The question is something like asking "are human beings by nature zipper-wearers?".

definitely yes. the human psyche is geared toward being spiritual which is a little bit different in my opinion than being religious. being spiritual means to me that one respects the free will of others to worship as they please and to respect nature along with the creations we see all around us while honoring respecting the CREATOR OF ALL THINGS no matter what Name one calls THEM.
being religious means again in my opinion means one has the idea that " my way is the only way and I know what is best for you no matter what you think. you have no right to free will and must do exactly the way I say. " type of attitude.

Human beings aren't spiritual. They need to be conditioned and trained before being spiritual.

Human beings evolved from the animal kingdom. Spirituality has nothing to do with emotions but humans have loads of emotions - selfishness, greed, hatred, etc.

Yes, in fact Genesis says, " And God proceeded to say,' Let us ( He and his son Jesus ) make man in our image.' "

Life has no real meaning if we do not acknowledge God and humble ourselves before Him.

Incidentally, evolutionists and atheists have no answers of consolation to the questions of the meanings of life and death.
Ironically, they don't even have answers to the questions of the universe, and complexities of life, even though that is their supposed field of expertise !! The Bible is the authoritative book of knowledge on spirituality, AND of science. God is The Great Scientist, and Inventor, and He inspired the Bible to be written, and preserved for us !!!

Yes, I believe we are. We are always seeking a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

The Bible says "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need" so that tells me that we all have it, but some people choose to ignore it.

not spiritual but definitely curious and creative. It's natural to make up stories to answer the questions we have, even if they are far fetched fairy tails about the creation of the universe.
