I have seen Christian websites claiming Allah is a moon God.

But Arab Christians and Jews still call their God as Allah. See this discussion at a catholic forum http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=111045

Also, throughout Arabic Bible there is Allah mentioned for God
See Arabic bible Genesis
http://www.arabicbible.com/bible/ot/gen/1.htm
You can see الله(Allah in Arabic) in the first verse

You can see Allah in list of Christian terms in Arabic

I hope you really do get to know Jesus one day... because all you know about him at present is some second hand propaganda from the man-made fan-mag called the Bible... Jesus is a remote star you've never met but you have a crush on the image his promoters have hyped...you are just a groupie aren't you...good luck with that!

And We have decreed set phases for the moon, until it ends up looking like an old date branch. It is not for the sun to overtake the moon nor for the night to outstrip the day; each one is swimming in a sphere. (Qur'an, 36:39-40)
The Moon does not follow a regular orbit like the satellites of other planets. As it orbits the Earth, it sometimes moves behind it and sometimes in front. As it also moves with the Earth around the Sun, it actually follows a constant pattern resembling the letter "S" in space.....

I will note here that I believe men and women (as well as transgendered) hold equal worth.

Ok, in Mexican culture there is a term that starts with a G, similar to 'La Golosa' that means something akin to a woman who is always ready for sex. I think it is a sort of slang. I found Golosa ina couple of dictionaries but it means fat so I must be missing a syllable or letter or something. If you know te word or anything about its literal English translation I'd appreciate it.

You see so many quotes about devout christians being said to be 'God fearing', why should they fear someone they love?

It seems a very odd concept to me, if i feared someone i certainly wouldnt love and worship them.

Love, makes us complete humans. Some are even willing to overlook Truth in order to attain Love.
In Islam, you don't have to make any sacrifices; you can have both Truth and
Love in God together.
First we must know what True Love is. True Love is a two way street. This
means we take Love as well as we give Love.
For example, Loving Jesus:
Muslims love Jesus more than Christians according to the Meaning of True
Love. This is because if you Love someone, you would care for them.
There is some doubt within the Gospel as to whether or not Jesus died on the
cross, with some evidence from scholars that perhaps Jesus did not die.
This should make the Christians happy that Jesus was saved instead of
insisting he was put through a horrifying long painful death >>So what do you say?

am an asian woman who has lived in australia, the US and France. the men of these countries treat me much much better than their women... white women condescend to me - as if they were somehow more intelligent or more precious than i am... no, no - it isn't upsetting to me anymore (after 20 years of this nonsense). Just curious to see if anyone else has had that experience
