Why would anyone make or sell these for children? Regardless of your faith how do you feel about it?

Yes the Bratz dolls have a new sleazy version out too.

Actually I would rather see Nude Barbie than this. Should we portray the female body as a sex toy and make them feel insecure about their own bodies and how they measure up?

I don't think it's all that bad. I mean, a lot of little girls make their own clothes for 'Barbie' anyway, and I'm sure some of it's 'sleazy'.

Girls see women dressed like this on TV all the time, so now they can play with Barbie dressed the same way. I don't think it's going to turn little girls into... um... 'hoes' (so to speak).

I mean, when I was a kid, Madonna used to show up on TV in her underwear and people figured it was the end of Western civilisation. Now we're all adults and Western civilisation still continues... (and Madonna still parades around in her underwear!)

I cannot even believe that was attempted to be passed off as a children's toy. Western culture glorifies the degredation of women. I hope that young women every where are taugt confidence and self respect so that they no that there is no need to advertise themselves sexually

I saw this at Wal-Mart the other day. My daughter,4, laughed at her shirt and thought it looked funny. I thought it looked like something you'd see on the corner in a bad neighborhood. They should be displayed next to the Playboys rather than in children's toys.
