you dress modestly... bra is not a necessity? There were no bra 100 yrs ago...

Weirdest question ever!
Muslim ladies have to be modestly dressed, and specially covered up while praying. And that is an undergarment. The main purpose is, whether waering bra or not, the whole body should be modestly covered.

Now this question is just bizarre n may be funny. Now it does not make any sense. Its just like "Is it compulsory for ladies to wear panties when confessing to the father in the church" or "is it compulsory for men to wear clean white underwears when entering the church". Dont ask questions like these. I wonder how u came to know about ur father. was it the best chosen answer to "Who did my mom sleep with"

That's a bizarre question. In that they should be modestly dressed, then I would presume they would be wearing a bra - if that's their country's tradition - underneath other clothes of course.
