I do agree everything we are has been shown to us
Think boy blue, girl pink
if you raise a boy in a pink room he thinks it is OK
if you told him pink is only for girls he won't like pink
now i am not saying boys don't like pink and should not it it just some thing we learn
if we are to be told gays must die for there sins people believe that look AT all the response for religion people
so when parents tell us we should only like the other sex do we think of that when we think sexuality
and are people that are gay bi etc being true to them selves

Bunch of BS.
First off, how can you prove what you are born? With indoctrination and/or socialization has set in by the time you can speak...makes it a rather mute point.
And if the simple fact that it is something that can not be proven does not trip your trigger. Take a look at all current and past civilizations. Very few have bisexuality as ok and even in the tribal cultures it is still just a man and a woman living together as mates.
So if the answerable is not good enough, then the history of global cultures should answer it.

sorry Matthew I can't agree with your statement.
I am a mother of 8 - some would call me manly in my character - domineering opinionated strong willed and aggressive business wise and sexually. I have raised my children very openly never making gender comments ie girls play with dolls - no matter what I see definite gender preferences as early as 2 years old - my daughters flirt with my husband and my boys are always trying to protect me it is a natural process - society tries to convince people that the abnormal is normal.
When a person sees a handicapped person their natural reaction is to be repulsed (because it scares us it is outside the norm) but society has drummed into us that this is not an acceptable reaction so we must repress our first response .
this is what society has done about homosexuality - a persons first reaction is repulsion - but society has taught us to hide this response and even accept it and now even embrace it .
When a person sees a handicapped person their reaction of revulsion should be turned into pity for the lost chances that person could have had at a normal life - so too with seeing a gay person - we should accept the revulsion that we see and express pity that this person will never lead a full normal life.
a physical handicapp is just as devestating as a mental one and both need emotional support - but like you would not cut off your legs so that you can identify with someone in a wheelchair - one should not embrace homosexuality to show empathy

I think sexual preference is something that is innate; some people were born bisexual, not all. I remember being a very little girl and having crushes on male celebreties. No one taught me this, it is just the way it happened. Similarly, friends who are gay or lesbian have told me that as small children they had crushes on same sex celebreties. In all of our cases, as small children, we were not operating from sexual attraction, because we did not know what sexuality was. Based on this, I believe our feelings come from the heart and as we reach adolescence those feelings also define who we want to relate to on an affectionate/intimate/sexual basis.

I don't know about you. But I wasn't born bisexual. I prefer the male sex. And not because I was taught to. So, as far as I'm concerned and I have quite a few friends that would join me, we weren't all born bisexual. But, "to each their own."

Considering that we get half of our genetic material from a man, and half from a women, it seems that this may be a logical conclusion. But to me, that's false logic. I agree that gender rolls and stereotypes are reinforced in schools and the rest of society. But sex, gender, and sexual orientation are not necessarily cut from the same cloth. I believe some things are hardwired in the brain, some are tendencies that society either praises or tries to squash, and others are just simply "who we are" as a combination of outward influences and brain functions.

I disagree, yes our views will no doubt be tainted as we grow older but then if no change occurs in the mind from birth then we will remain relatively stupid. But as to your "we are all born bisexuals" remark, I tend to disagree. I think that we are born with no sexual desire when we are first born and it is only from our environmental influences that beckons our sexuality (be it hetero, homo, or bi). So no, we are born with no sexual needs and thus no sexual orientation but as we progress through life we change.

i disagree if it werw natural to be bi sexual wouldn't man be able to get pregnant to.......plus if u like to take it in the azz thats cool just dont try to tell us were wrong for not fakin' men.... i know a couple of gay people they all have the same thing in common they never had sex with a woman... and the ones that did had a lot of trouble to get with woman.......so to me it seems that homosexuality is just people who give up, or never had luck with the opoite sex

no i disagree. I may be bisexual, but in my opinion My feeling is stronger for one than another. i can't really be sure, but we're not "educated" to "choose" either sex. the very thing i can say is, we are who we are. gay, straight, or Bi. that's it.

I disagree. We are born Asexual (We don't really view men and women in any sexual light until puberty).
I think, without any teaching/stimulus, I would still be heterosexual now, so no. I don't think we're all born bisexual.
