1. you believe all the documents and what all the documents say and agree about Jesus, that He existed and He was the Son of God and He performed miracles. He died arose from the dead and is alive today.

2. you believe the 5600 documents are accurate, but ONLY in that Jesus existed, not that he performed or did anything that all the documents say He did (miracles and such, you think he was an ordinary man)....

3. you dont accept the 5600 documents and they're all a lie. Jesus never existed. The numerous people who didnt know each other who wrote the EXACT same things in the manuscripts, And the Fact that the manuscripts were found in different parts of the world, this was just a Coincidence (more like miraculous LoL).

1, 2, or 3?

Sunrise from the West
The science of astronomy states that the speed of planet Mars has been decreasing in its course toward the eastern direction in the few past weeks to the level we notice the "waver" between the east and the west ..and on Wednesday the 30th of July the planet movement stopped going toward the eastern direction.. Then in the months of August and September...Mars changed its course in the opposite direction to the West- and that until the end of September. which means the sun will rise now from the west on Mars!! And this weird phenomena of the opposite movement called "Retrograde Motion" Most scientist state that all the planets will go through the same once at least and our planet Earth is one of them. Planet Earth will move in the opposite direction some day and the sun will rise from the west!! This might occur soon and we are unaware!

When's the last time an Atheist president said Christians shouldn't be considered patriots or even citizens?
When's the last time an Atheist told you who you can and can't marry?
When's the last time an Atheist made it illegal for Christians to run for office or testify in court in several states?
When's the last time an Atheist banned Christians from a public funded group like the Boy Scouts?
When's the last time an Atheist made you unable to shop at certain stores or go to the bank on certain days because of their beliefs?
When's the last time an Atheist killed for his/her beliefs?
When's the last time an Atheist added lines to the origional pledge of allegiance to reflect their own beliefs?
When's the last time an Atheist tried to pull a fast one you by making laws based on something that the constitution clearly says laws shouldn't be based on?

Think about this the next time you wonder why Atheists are here.

no stupid answers this is the rule
what was the story of those verses from the Qur'an from Surah 4 "Al Nisaa"
105. We have sent down to thee the Book in truth, that thou mightest judge between men, as guided by Allah. so be not (used) as an advocate by those who betray their trust;

106. But seek the forgiveness of Allah. for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

107. Contend not on behalf of such as betray their own souls; for Allah loveth not one given to perfidy and crime:

108. They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do.

109. Ah! These are the sort of men on whose behalf ye may contend in this world; but who will contend with Allah on their behalf on the Day of Judgment, or who will carry their affairs through?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here has ever experienced a true Christian who was able to speak in his or her last hours or days.
I`m experiencing something so awesome and beautiful. there or no words to describe.
My husbands Grandmother is 88 and the Dr`s give her a few hrs or days to live. For the past few days she has been in the hospital, all of her kids there ever minute, they are getting to enjoy her and her them. She is praising god and ready to go whenever he is ready to take her, I know she is so sick that she really don’t have an appetite, but she keeps eating, because she has such a strong will to do gods will. She knows it wont be long now and she is laughing and talking with her children. It`s beautiful. The Dr and nurses say they have never seen anything like this. She has taught alot of us so much about love and fogivness.
To my Christian brothers and sisters, will you please pray that when it’s her time, god will take her with no pain what-so ever. In Jesus name?

Btw, this is not a pro/anti Christian question. It's about the habits of some answerers.

I find the christian argument against gay marriage to be hypocritical at best. Do you buy it? They say gay marriage would ruin the institution of marriage, but in other countries where it's legal, there is no proof of that at all. They say marriage is the foundation of our society, but it already has a 1-in-2 failure rate. Something that weak/poor is the foundation of our society? They say it's against the bible. But adultery is against the bible (it's actually serious enough to warrant a commandment all its own) AND it's clearly damaging to marriage. Yet, christians do not deny adulterers the right to marry & divorce, and marry & divorce repeatedly, and continue to decay the institution of marriage. Jesus never speaks one word against gays, but he clearly speaks out against divorce. The christian reply to that paradox? Hate & denigrate gays -- and make divorce so easy that it's practically an institution. Who is ruining marriage? Is hate and dishonesty really the answer?

It was said by a white "English" girl on the opposing team. So I could see why she would be offended because it would be like calling somebody a racial slur.

But what are the main differences between Pakistan and India people. I know that religion is one, but not sure of the religions involved. If two were of different religions would this prevent two people from friendship? Like in college?

I love people from India, I work with a lot of them and go to school with them, but I do not understand their cultural differences...I do not want to offend anyone with my ignorance, so if I come across as mean spirited it is only my lack of knowlege. And I am sorry.

how do you feel about christian and catholic missionaries trying to get others of other faith to join theirs? do you think that is right just because you believe that your religion holds the truth and salvation while others don't? what about respecting their beliefs?don't you feel you are trying to takesomething which isn't yours? if i may be so bold, what you are doing is like poaching to me. how would you feel if others of other faith pull the same tact on your followers for the same reasons that you have? I'm ok if they come to you at their own free will, but going out in the streets, making nice to them,( you do it in third world countries and in well developed countries too, thus your excuse to just help the poor and needy doesnt hold up in the latter), questioning their religion, faith and studying it so you can find ways to turn it around. have you ever question your conscience or what your people are really doing?

During my last post Christians complained I was judging them by the actions of a few. Or they claimed that ‘those people’ are not true Christians--funny that's not how ‘those people’ tell it. Yet, Christians pass judgment on gays, Muslims and Jews, etc ad nausem all the time.

The only difference is when someone gay does something stupid...they are ridiculed by they gay community. Religious people greet stupidity with silent approval and allow it to continue in their name.

So if I’m not supposed to judge you on the actions of a few and we really do have freedom of religion, what makes it okay for you to do it to me or an entire community? Why do you feel so righteous when you vote away potential privileges for others?

Because nobody much knew before hand. I did not even guess. Many (lots of) stranger people around.

It seems the religious catagory unlike the other sections of Q&A has become a place where people don't feel the need to restrain themselves. The questions are no longer questions but are excuses to attack. That is ashame. since so much could be learned from both sides. I personally would enjoy learning and having respectful disagreements with opposing views. If more people would stop answering and responding to these out landish remarks, maybe they would get tired of posting rude questions. I personally have lost hope and interest in this catagory. Please give me a response or point of view that would help me to see this different.

I've seen so many answers where they claim to be peaceful & kind. Where are those people? All I ever see on here are people trying to be mean to Christians on purpose. If you don't believe in God, then why do you spend so much time & energy talking about Him?

was christian's interpretation re jesus resurrection n ascension according to Bible is wrong? please advise me..

The greatness of Jesus should not be based on His physical Ascension, because it is written in the Bible.

That several minor prophets for example Enoch (Hebrews 11:5) and Elijah were also taken bodily into heaven.

“By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see the death; and he was not found, because God had taken him” (Hebrews 11:5). >>> Jesus was not the only one that went bodily to heaven after His resurrection.

The gospel of Matthew: The Ascension is not mentioned. The story ends with the promise of Jesus: “I am with you always, to the close of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

Peter also had that understanding. They had understood correctly when Jesus spoke of heavenly things when He said “I will rise again”. Jesus talks about “the rise of His spirit not of the body”.

Tonight some telemarketer called me and he sounded like he was from india. I told him I had to go to bed now to wake up at 5 AM. Since he woke me up I can't sleep. What the hell were they thinking calling people so late?
