Sunrise from the West
The science of astronomy states that the speed of planet Mars has been decreasing in its course toward the eastern direction in the few past weeks to the level we notice the "waver" between the east and the west ..and on Wednesday the 30th of July the planet movement stopped going toward the eastern direction.. Then in the months of August and September...Mars changed its course in the opposite direction to the West- and that until the end of September. which means the sun will rise now from the west on Mars!! And this weird phenomena of the opposite movement called "Retrograde Motion" Most scientist state that all the planets will go through the same once at least and our planet Earth is one of them. Planet Earth will move in the opposite direction some day and the sun will rise from the west!! This might occur soon and we are unaware!

The rise of the sun from the west is mentioned in the hadith and this is the major sign of the Day of Judgment, most if not All, the minor signs have occured. Wake up. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said: "One of the signs of the hour..the sun will rise from the west, where no longer tauba (forgiveness) will be granted" !! And the strange thing ..most of our Shariah scholars mentioned that the rise of the sun from the west occurs only once.. on that day..the sun will rise from the west..then again from the east.. and continues until Allah (SWT) wishes.. and this is similar to what is happening to Mars..it stops, then it changes its course of direction for a short period of time..then returns to way once it was.

Abdullah-b-Abu-Owfa reported that I heard the Messenger of Allah say, "Verily a night will come upon the people which is equivalent of three of your nights. When it comes those that engage themselves in worship during the night will recognise it. One of them will stand in prayer, read his Hizb (The normal amount he has made the habit of reading) and then go to sleep. Thereafter he will wake up (for the second time) read his Hizb in prayer and go to sleep. While this is the situation the people will begin to shout, scream and call one another. They will say, "What's this?" With fear they will run to the mosque. To their surprise they will see that the sun has risen from the west. When it reaches the middle of the sky it will return and set in the west." He said , "That is when Imaan will not benefit anyone (who brings faith after seeing the sign)." (An-Nihaya)

captain carot: dont know what u trying to prove but think that how can be this highly scientific and complex space mystry told by a person 1400 years back???????? how he knew that sun will rise from west after thousands of years? who told him about this mystry?

Yes, I read this fact in a forwarded mail as well.
The rising of the sun from the west will be one amjor sign that the Day of Judgement is near....and it will be dark fir more than 48 hours. People will wonder why isn't the sun rising......and then it will rise from the west......scary but true!

Every two years or so, there are a couple of months when Mars' position from night to night seems to change direction and move east to west. This strange behavior was very puzzling to early skywatchers. Did the planet really stop, back up, change its mind, and then continue to move forward? Did it have some weird, mystical meaning?
Today we know what's going on. It's an illusion, caused by the ways that Earth and Mars orbit the sun.
The two planets are like race cars on an oval track. Earth has the inside lane and moves faster than Mars -- so much faster, in fact, that it makes two laps around the course in about as much time as it takes Mars to go around once. That's why, this fall, we will be celebrating the first full martian year that NASA's Mars Exploration Rovers Spirit and Oppportunity have spent on the red planet, even though they landed nearly two Earth years ago.
About every 26 months, Earth comes up from behind and overtakes Mars. While we're passing by the red planet this year, it will look to us as though Mars is moving up and down. Then, as we move farther along our curved orbit and see the planet from a different angle, the illusion will disappear and we will once again see Mars move in a straight line.

The sun rising from the West could be metaphor. In that wisdom will come from a Western country. Or more likely, refers to
when the earth moves. Which will bring about the Tribulation,
and the end of things as we have known them.
I believe the retrogrades you spoke about only give an
"appearance" of moving backward in relation to the movement
of the Earth. According to the astrology I studied a while back.

This is mainly due to different speeds of earth and mars, and this retrograde aspect is an illusion

Cool...ya, it says in the Bible that north will become south and south will become north...I can imagine that that will also happen to east and west!! Does that mean the sun is gonna rise in the west for us??
